It looks like the Globe arena. It was in SimCity 4 also.

Great work here! I really liked the screenshots, especially the close up ones!

Beautiful stadium. Does look a bit like Old Trafford but I could be wrong on that ;)
It's sad that sports are not really simulated. Would love to see them cims playing basketball or everything else :)

So very, very green! That basketball court was funny because I initially thought that the centre circle in the court was covered in a big puddle of blood.

badsouth its in Cities Skylines (an easy way to tell if your ever lost again is to look at which game section of the forum its in :)).

Lovely updates Ultimate. Really am liking the small town on the edge of the hill. The houses look really nice and I love the layered look it has to it!

Cheers

@michae95l: I think he meant the football stadium, but I'm not sure. Also thanks!

    @tankmank: Thank you!

@kingofsimcity: Thanks! You mean the really thin one on the top of the hill next to the village?

@Carnivorus: No it's from Celtic in Scotland. I posted the link for it in the reply on max' post. And I agree with you about the cims only standing on the field.

    @Ln X: I think that's just graffiti, but I could be wrong...

    @badsouth: Are you a troll?

    @badsouth :/

Update 8: Let it Grow! Flag%20-%20Riverdam%20city%20small_zpsmz

Hello and welcome to the 8th update of Riverdam!

I'll keep the intro short this time and just go straight on to the pictures.

BTW, did you notice the flag after the title of the update? It is the flag of Riverdam (city) and from now on, each update will only be about one district and I'll post the flag of the city/village/district next to the title.

New skyscrapers have been built... That's what this update will be all about.

    Cities%202015-04-21%2021-04-23-371_zpslj

The Orthodox cathedral still looks nice between all those new skyscrapers.

I want to be on this train!

The new HSBC building next to the Aon Center fits in very well here.

Nice work Ultimate727, I really liked the small cliff district/town in previous update a lot : )

My only suggestion would be to try out the Fine Road Heights mod, which would allow for much nicer smooth and realistic overpasses both for pedestrians as well as roads : )

Give it a shot, it's really nice. Makes page-up and page-down have increments of just 3 meters when doing elevated networks, so you can have 9m overpasses rather than 15m(default).

I didn't know you had a CJ! The world out of the blog section is new for me.

Luckily you weren't on that train, otherwise we wouldn't have that great picture from the very tracks! I like that ;-)

    Update 9: Riverside Flag%20-%20Riverside%20small_zpswu4pw0ha & Leedshire Flag%20-%20Leedshire%20small_zpsmocvqeaj

Hello and welcome to the 9th update of Riverdam!

This will be the last update in a long time. I'm going to spain tomorrow and will stay there for over a week. I want to wish all of you who also have holidays now, happy holidays!

Leedshire is a new suburban town I created next to Riverdam, the village from the first update. Lets start!

Even though it's situated next to an industrial area, Riverside is a wealthy place with many parks and happy residents.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2012-59-32-765_zpst8

    Like I said: many parks.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-00-30-242_zpsiz

And Riverside even has its own recycling center!

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-01-05-439_zps0t

The Dark District is a part of Riverside. No one lives here, fortunately.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-01-38-453_zpshf

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-02-28-080_zpsor

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-02-10-035_zpsze

Well, maybe some homeless guys do live here. (I hope not)

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-02-57-560_zpsgw

Next to the Dark District, a new town has been developed for the industrial workers.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-03-52-539_zpsuz\

Don't worry. They have good healthcare!

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-03-38-881_zpsop

I don't know how industrial workers can afford these houses.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-05-09-948_zpslt

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-04-53-202_zpsek

At the otherside of Riverside, I took this picture.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-09-36-331_zpsvr

    We're heading towards Leedshire now.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-04-29-230_zps6g

Leedshire is the largest of all districts in the Riverdam metropolitan area.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-05-33-400_zpsck

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-06-56-579_zpshe

And because of that, it has two universities. The one below is one of them.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-06-09-709_zpsg2

The church, TV tower and falling pillars plaza are popular attractions.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-06-48-740_zpsx5

It is also possible to climb the church tower for only €5 for an adult and €4 for kids from 6 to 14. Kids below 6 are free, but it's at your own risk if you take them with you.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-08-03-031_zpszd

    Some overview pictures:

Leedshire is on the left. The Dark District and Riverside are in the front.

    Cities%202015-04-25%2013-08-35-142_zpsxx

The curved roads of east Riverside in the front and Leedshire in the distance.

Riverdam looks gorgeous! Love the radio tower, it sure looks a lot like the one in Rotterdam.  Since your country name is ending in -dam, do you happen to be Dutch?

Anyway Leedshire downtown looks like a skyscraper heaven :D

@Carnivorus: Thanks and Spain was lovely!

@YUUU: Yes, I am Dutch (which you can see on the left of this post), but this is not the tower from Rotterdam. Example is in spoiler. And I love Rotterdam, so it might have been an influence for my city name, but I don't know anymore. Last, there are no skyscrapers in Leedshire. All skyscrapers are in downtown Riverdam and in Miami. Also thanks for your comment!

Rotterdam (left) and Köln (right) (this one looks more like the CSL one)

@PhatHead: Thanks for your kind words, but how will you manage to do that?!

@Kim Sunwoo: Thank you! Although in the picture with the ship, you can see the least of my city, I like it too.

    @Buffalonian2: Thanks!

No update this time. I'm sorry. I just need your help so I can play the game again. I have made a new topic here:

Problem solved, so here is a new update. The tenth to be more precise!

    Riverdam

    Update 10: Some Farms Flag%20-%20Fallfield%20small_zpslcwwd114

A new small town has been created next to west Riverside. It is called Fallfield (Springfield, Fallfield. You get it?) and is home to about hundred people, and a high percentage of them is farmer. Today, we will look at this village next to the solar plants.

This is the main street of the little village. On both of its sides are shops and houses.

    Cities%202015-05-14%2013-08-54-360_zpsqt

The left building is an old cinema, which is still in use and the right building is the local school.

    Cities%202015-05-14%2013-08-09-156_zpswi

The school and cinema are the oldest buildings in the village still standing. The school is even more than a century old.

    Cities%202015-05-14%2013-08-26-105_zpse3

    Cities%202015-05-14%2013-10-16-518_zpsoo

    The 'skyline' of Fallfield.

    Cities%202015-05-14%2013-09-49-983_zps6j

You can see the Leedshire TV tower from anywhere in the little village.

    Cities%202015-05-14%2013-10-23-913_zpsnp

    Cities%202015-05-14%2013-10-29-932_zpsc9

An overview of the farms and solar plant.

    Cities%202015-05-14%2013-09-20-530_zps4p

    Another farm picture.

    Cities%202015-05-14%2013-09-04-512_zpsql

I have slightly changed this railway to make it look smoother.

    Cities%202015-05-14%2013-11-57-779_zpscg

The centre of Leedshire has grown a lot since the last update. Even skyscrapers are rising now!
