Where did that cul-de-sac come from? I've been waiting for that forever.

I made it myself. Took the one way road from the Network Extensions mod, used Move It! to adjust the roads and then covered the middle  section with Ploppable Asphalt. A few road damage decals later and the cul de sac was born. Check out this video for how it was done (shown twice - 02:46 & 08:41):

It looks good. I wish there was a ready-made one on the workshop, or in the vanilla game. Cul-de-sacs are so common, having to go to all that trouble to fudge one shouldn't be necessary.

This area is still a WIP but I'm pretty happy with the dropped curb. I'm kicking myself that it took me so long to figure out how to achieve this! I just didn't think to use the plain street and Ploppable Pavement together for dropped curbs :golly:

Just outside Downtown Rostock - a new American city I'm building, on Manor Street, near 18th:

Shots of the Historic Downtown in Rostock (wish I had a map to show the area but my Cimtographer's having trouble lol) - this part of Downtown is east of Fulman Avenue, between 3rd and 9th Streets - most shots are looking on 7th and 8th Streets (though the second pic is on 6th Street), containing the most important office and shopping corridors, respectively, within the city of Rostock.

I have posted here in a while, but I'm back with a shot from my newest California-themed city. I know Food Lion doesn't exist in California, but I love the asset enough that I decided to use it anyway :thumb:sbCkDnb.png

71F234E75CB6932684E9DB4E479432D279B50F3FI have a soft spot for how this image turned out, note, aside from maybe a car or two, and the people, there are no vanilla assets in this shot.

Bier garten!  Inspired by (not not modeled after) the Augustiner-Keller in Munich, which I had a chance to visit earlier this summer.  Considering that a few thousand people can fit into the Augustiner-Keller at any point in time,  I probably should add a few hundred People Park Generators to my bier garten.  *:D

Some more Rostock - sadly this city is virtually unplayable on my current laptop, hopefully I can upgrade to 32GB RAM and a quad-core CPU soon. So the pictures show the following:

1. Hampton Inn on Manor St. and 14th St. (looking north on Manor St.)

2. Houston St. and 7th St. (looking south on Houston St.) - this is in Atwater Village, a trendy, gentrified, former port area which has declined along with manufacturing, though proximity to downtown Rostock has made it desirable over the years.

3. A random street in Cypress Park, an inner-city suburb of Rostock - definitely more working class than Atwater Village.

Working on this detailed highway exit and entrance based on a real-world location near Kanagawa, Japan. Quite happy with how this is turning out if I can say so.
