I don't have one but glad we get to do it in game know just need so more real Commercial buildings that have no limitations to how many we put that would make our Exits more funnier. Also Signs to what is of Exit to.

Can someone advise me. I use a box method when designing my city.. My cities clog up with traffic jams.. For this reason I stopped playing. I've got the udon mod in.. It does it no matter what I do.

didn't even see you guys made a post about udons and intersections. 

 

for every problem there is or are multiple solutions.  which one you choose is kind of design decision and direction

 

so far most people build side by side but I tend to build side by side underground more than above ground and do not have as many intersections in general.

 

but I do try and use predictive traffic decision along with udons to make better choices below ground and then above ground agent sculpting to make cities flow better to the sub structure

@Yayie, I love this.  Looks great. Please share more as your city develops!  I've never used service roads like that before, so I'm really interested to see if that helps with providing services efficiently to the city?

Will do, I will add more buildings and see how the traffic goes, including the service roads.

I posted some of this to reddit, but seems like it could go here too. I'm new to SImCity so not very good at planning traffic etc. It's seriously fun though, even if I do end up bulldozing interchanges over and over and over!

Sorry, I decided to create a new city instead. Due to some changes of trial and error with countless mods. Anyways, I've create a Y junctions, 3 way interchange and add a service roads in the middle which I found useless at the moment. I might change the service roads to street car tracks or trying to work with other set of roads when I figure out how my sim's travel patterns with the current road layout.

 

Picture 1 : City is not fully develop yet. I just wanted to show 3 way interchange

Picture 2 : Service roads below the roundabout. So far at 30k populations, no red traffic minor traffic problems at traffic hours, not much and lasted around 30 in game minutes, this might decrease more when Omega takes over the residential areas.

Very impressive! :thumb: Too bad it seems that your interchange takes up so much room in your city. This is why it's imperative to me that we get bigger city tiles/maps.

Can't download Undone's Mod but Signs need to be include in your Interchsnges like say Exit 7 Ballville/Highway 47 and Exit 9 Manny Road/Kingdom Highway 2 Miles.

So glad that this game is getting nearer and nearer to what fans wanted all along... but its unfortunate that its taken so much time to get here...hard work and perserverance is represented here despite all of EA and Maxis' nay saying although this highway mod has given gamers some more alternatives... I just can't overlook the fact that most of these interchanges seem so super unrealistic to me.

@zbeginendz above (picture number 4) shows us brilliant trick to double city entrance flow.
