ststats_top25reppostratio.jpg

I have 949 Rep, but I guess its because I have way less than 500 posts :P

Also excellent data crunching guys :D

Some impressive mining there, how was the rep count calculated?

All I managed to find was the most/highest rated content.

It took me at least 7 years to get from post 990 to post 1000.  That must be a record.

How about highest average STEX ratings?  I figure mine to be 4.80 (over 431 votes) but I'll bet §100 that doesn't crack the top 50.  :)

Also, most STEX entries, downloads, views, etc.?

All very interesting stats and graphs, but of course they are all very transitory.

Perhaps we should have a live stats window, that updates every 30 seconds to keep us all up to date with real time graphs.

(Only joking) :D

Statistics are irrelevant.

Maybe so, but that doesn't mean they can't be interesting.

GouRou has only 913 posts, the number on her profile is tinkered with. GMT has the most posts of anyone whose username begins with G.

And three of the people on your list have known clone accounts they've posted with that boost their total slightly. :read:

How did they tinker with that?

And it appears that my list got cut off somehow...

How did they tinker with that?

Admins did and, as far as I'm aware, still do have the ability to edit any and all fields in a member's profile - even ones the member themself cannot edit such as post count, join date, etc. GouRou is not the only member to have their post count edited but it is a rare occurrence.

The back story, as I recall, is that one of the admins (probably either rybolton or golfbunny) spur of the moment decided to have some sort of random contest in the chatroom among the current participants, with the prize for the winner being that they would have 5,000 posts added to their post count. GouRou won that contest and got 5,000 posts added to her post count. This was in 2004, but it remains as such to this day.

As you get older stats become less and less interesting.  Generally for me, they are too much information.

As you get older stats become less and less interesting.  Generally for me, they are too much information.

But only 42.3% of statistics are less interesting. A full 37.25% become more interesting over time. There are no statistics on how many statistics do not fall into those categories. :P

I wonder how a year of SC2013 has impacted the stats from last year...

Ha. For a starter like me. They are just stats. They won't really matter maybe for fun only though...
