We did not get any popcorn at the theater but we had just eaten dinner immediately beforehand so it would have been rather unnecessary.

I haven't seen a movie on a cinema since watching Batman, the Dark Knight, too many years ago, go figure. It is simply too much expensive, offers almost no advantage against the ever growing flat TV sets and internet movies have even diminished the need for high resolution or an enveloping experience; now the most valued asset is to see the film when is just released.

Also, cinema popcorn is terribly bad and smells like worn out socks. I vastly prefer hand made popcorn, the one that's prepared on a pressure cooker and sold on the streets.

I took my son to his first movie for his 6th birthday, Star Wars Ep. VIII.  We had fun, but we'll probably never go see another 3D movie.  He did an excellent job watching it.  EDIT: that was the only movie I've seen in the theaters in 5 years.

I don't care for seeing movies in the theaters. Last I saw was 21 Jump Street and I got carded. Last night I finally got around to watching Apocalypse Now and I must say it was excellent.

Winter here, 2°C this morning, even if spring is just two weeks ahead. But meteorologists and farmers are worried because this has been the driest august recorded, so both electricity and vegetables will rise prices crazily this summer.

After my town got hit by a tornado in December, there's plans to put a statue of a Phoenix rising from a tornado in a park that got hit by it, and probably using pieces of a water tower that was hit and recently got taken down. I hope I can make a BAT of it when it's done.

It's the annual butterfly migration.  Here in South Texas, it looks like leaves are blowing off the trees or flowers are floating in the wind, but in actuality these are millions of butterflies from across North America fluttering their way south to Mexico.

Last movie I went to was Star Wars and had to watch it in 3D, I don't like the 3D but I like Star Wars, and I actually waited till it was almost out so I was the only one in the theater that night.

I suffer from sometimers too.   Montreal is great, but don't take any friends that have had a DUI or related in the past 10yrs, cause then you get turned back at the border and end up in VT, nice but not the same
