great.! Do you mind to explain what 0x0db62aad & 0x0db74e1e stand for? Turns? (sorry i didnt do research yet)

db62aad = allow crossing median on enter

db74e1e = allow crossing median on exit

    funny thing to point out is that streets had only one of the values which turned on.

     

    avenues had the second value but turned off.


    Weird things seems to get easier the more i do it... is that a bug?

    This is the first mod I have installed and I am soooo soooo happy with this.  My buses are doing U turns like they're pro's and don't have to go to the end of the street to turn back around for a bus stop.  This is good because A. It's quicker,  and B. Buses tend to be absent minded and will change course and make the wrong turns at intersections.  This cuts down on the stupidity. THANK YOU!

    Praise the Lord! This thing dramatically helps traffic flow in my city!

     

    And also checkout the Simcity topic on Reddit, you're causing quite a stir of people not beliving this could be done until now...

    I finally tried this out yesterday and it help with traffic a ton! I was wondering, is it possible to make it so that cars can't cross over the center divider on certain road types (like the avenue with grass median)? It just looks weird to see cars cutting through grass and trees trying to get on the right side!  :)

    Sure i just added it the file contains one file for each road type just copy the ones you wish to use

    This is a brilliant step in the right direction. Thanks for doing the legwork in finding the values to set. I, for one, don't really care what the cars look like driving over grassy medians, as long as traffic flows. It was a huge oversight by Maxis that I'm grateful someone like you fixed.

    !!WARNING READ THIS FIRST!!

    BUSSLANE STREET 

     

    First i want to say that this street is experimental and any damage usage of this street may cause is on your shoulders, 

     

    So far the little testing i've done shows that the road will on loading turn into an unusable and unremovable street

     

    I decided to upload it so others may see what i have done and run their own experiments and maybe figure out how to make it work for more then one session

     

    I discovered a way to add new content to the game and identified a property (0x0d6498e8) That i call permissions and identified a number of values that controls it (Se spoiler)

    exporting all the relevant Props changing its TGI allowed me to create a new road type and menu item for it

     

    The road support Pedestrians, Police, Busses, Garbage/Rec Trucks, Trade Trucks, Street Cars, Trains, Water And Power

    Hey Felgard, great work on figuring that out! Tested it and pretty much works as per your description, now to fiddle with this new info. Thanks for sharing! Funny story, last night I was actually going through the data pack in the locale checking out the strings and I ran into some bits that relate to some of those like the water main but I figured it was related to something completely different at the time and went on my way. Pretty cool coincidence waking up and seeing this hahaha

    I seem to have lost an entire region. The latest city I was working on gets an "unable to load" error and the other cities in the region just sit on the loading screen. The only thing that changed from playing the latest city and the others was the crossover mod.

     

    Sigh... I suspect they might have changed something in 3.0 or 3.1 that sniffs out mods. And with 4.0 coming tomorrow, who knows what will work.

    I don't think its the mod its simscity working as intended  ;)

     

    now then with some of the frustration i'm feeling with simcity is out of my system we can continue with the post

     

    I hope not and if it's true it must be relatively new since i've so far has had no problems and considering i seen a tweet by one of the devs commenting on my mod in a positive manner i don't think they are that against moding.

     

    Did this happen gradually or did all the cites stop working at the same time? all in one session or during several sessions? Have you tried removing my mod to see if that helps?

     

    Also i should state that i had some weird problems with both simscity and origin yesterday where they both failed to authenticate me and had unusually long connection time and several times timed out on me. if it was something that didn't affect just me it could have affected your region in some way

    I have made a comparison right now between my mod and the new game files and found no difference beside my modification so no update is needed.  and thinking about it this mod should not cause any rollbacks since it's all run locally meaning nothing that is communicated to the server should flag your town as broken.

     

    and the loading problem is something i have encountered before both with and without it so i don't believe its my mod.

     

    it might be Caching problems try to delete the "Cache.package", "GraphicsCache.package" in "..\SimCity\SimCityUserData\" (Back them up before)

    Although I personaly don't own SC13, I can reccomend you to delete the game files and re-download everything. If that does not work, go to /mydocs/mygames/sc13? and delete the cache that might be in there
