[TIP] : Build stop intersection with high density road

Hello. i'have notice a little trick that i want to share with you. Helped me in my cities, maybe it can help you too. you will pedestrian road to make this. it can be downloaded here : 1) Choose the intersection you want to modify 2) select pedestrian road (available from university, or use mod on forum to add it to road menu ! ) 3) drag it from the high density road 4) DOWNGRADE road next to intersection 5) Delete pedestrian road 6) Here we go ! you can notice that the stoplights dissapeared Extra tip : You can use pedestrian roads to "cut" roads in other cases. for example when you want to "unlink" the road from a plopped building ! However, don't forget to check if the service vehicle can still enter the building ( ex : with garbage center ) -

to simnewbie> I use the . It contains plopable lights sets (belgium, uk, us, ... ) and you can choose the one you want to use. i use too so the streets in residential area contains random tree / lights. Props random with clicking again on the street. to jason leo> i will take a look the additionnal bats, especially for industry (seaports, fillers etc ..) thanks you for answer -
Hello and merry Xmas to everybody here ! I've been playing simcity 4 for a while, and building a big and effective city is not a problem anymore. Now, i am trying to make a new region, based on realism looking ( without cheats / helpers ). So i have added a bunch of mods to the game to start my new city : - start the use of far pieces that make really great curves, costs time, but in my opinion really worth it. - Euro markings on all roads - dark night - lights cones mods - plopable road-side lights - plopable highway signs - god mod tree tool mod. - industrial and agricultural mods - slope mods, and some more addons ... but no addon that add 123154513414 entries to mayor menu And i notice some aspects of city building that help to have a good look: - consider the parks and plazas like an entire part of the game, spam them smartly, - choose only euro buidings ( discoverd how to do it yesterday... just click the mayor menu hammer icon, then click on the title of bottom frame to make the menu appear... ) - choose a location for any city ( even if it is 300 inhabitants) in the map, and choose an area that the city will occupy ( the limit can me put by trees, a road etc ... ) . in this way, the suburbs are built naturally, since the density raise in direction of the "downtown area". - use far and smooth curves whenever it is possible. a lot of work, but it really worths the time imo. But i am trying to continue to make better cities, so i have 3 questions : 1) Is it possible to draw smooth curve and far pieces without going in the menu and select them ? i have seen on some vids people are doing it, but i dont get how. I saw somebody doing it with straigh far pieces in video on youtube. seems to be tricky but i can't manage to do it again. 2) Do you have any advice / tips on the construction / layout itself ? 3) Or a favourite mod for make realistic cities, with preferably a few entries but a great effects ? And i would like to thank all the community, which made it possible to play a completely new game that just has in common the name with original game

I think i have noticed a bug : My new city have a high high tech demand, but low dirty demand. it is a new city. When i zone medium industry, only the lot "Andrew SuperConductors" grow. ( Dirty Industry dont grow because of taxes ). Manufacturer grow normally. Perhaps the lot is in "wrong" category ? -

For info : after 2 days testing, the mod seem 100% compatible with Industry Doubler [CODE] community.simtropolis.com/files/file/15758-industry-doubler/[/CODE] great combo with Sim Peg Agricultural Mod, it give completely remade industry sector. It is christmas before time
