Wow Ln X, this is absolutely amazing work. My industrial areas are probably the worst in the entire SC4 community and this series of pics is a heck of an inspiration for me. This scrapyard deserves to be uploaded to the STEX - it's THAT good! (Ummm....please? LOL) May I also ask what engine house you used in your train yard?

This scrapyard deserves to be uploaded to the STEX - it's THAT good! (Ummm....please? LOL) May I also ask what engine house you used in your train yard?

Firstly I have never BAT-ted or LOT-ted in my life. All the custom content you see in my CJ and pictures comes from other users whom I downloaded from.

 

Now, the scrapyard is north country dude's Innercity Junkyard Modular found here- The engine house of the train yard is the Rectangle Roundhouse made by d_j_p_1, you can find it here-

I'm going to develop this area into the port of my city but the immediate surrounds will be more light industrial with warehouses etc.

I'm sure you're sick of being asked for plugins, but I can't find those Paeng Grunge textures that overhang on the rails etc? I can only find ones that only occupy the one tile they are plopped on.

murimk's diagonal buildings, filler extenders and industrial MMPs are invaluable. But placing a grunge concrete extender over RRW doesn't work as it hides the railway; I've tried!

An industrial park in the northeast part of Tarbutt Township.

I've been trying to improve on the look of my industrial areas but definitely not as good as Ln X's industrial areas.

Might have got a little carried away with the industrial sheds.

Looking nice guys. Some really dirty grungy industrial areas here, just like they should be!

 

Here's Ayreswater, a slightly smaller industrial river-mouth town from my Garton CJ.

If you don't mind, where do you get the gray pieces that you put on the ground (like pedmalls)? I keep seeing those and i just don't find them (they are totally grey, in contrast with the Industry essentials that are gray with some green)
