May be a dumb question but how did you get your rail to go over the entrance of your city like that??

It is default by the game. It's not user-created, it is made by EA or maxis.

Casino city:

Brooklyn, a city I built specifically for population. No streetcars, just 72 buses:

Ah, got it. Thanks, I haven't played that region I guess (I usually play in Veridian Woods).

How were you able to fit all of that in one map?

I have the Deluxe version ;)

Holy cow!  Very nice looking cities.  How did you get the overpasses?  Shift clicking?

I wished it was that easy

I used this;

Start simcity, load city, alt-tab

Select height from menu, then click start on SCTweak.

Draw overpass/tunnel.

To connect to road, stop sctweak, click on overpass/tunnel when the cursor circle snaps to its end and draw onto land.

I don't post much but I felt the need to share some of my cities here :). Not as pretty as some of you but I think it's worth sharing.

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

A few snaps from the future of the Saga of New Wax...

First: Wax Ridge, from Wax Superior (Callaghan Canyon in Edgewater Bay)

The "over-over" pass in Wax Ridge North.

Indulge in all the casino debauchery you wish under the cover of the mighty uber-pass.

Now, to Wax Cove in New Wax (Conch Beach in Horizon Archipelago)

gsbd.png

Just a single overpass this time, over the main road.

u07f.pngWax Cove by night, with Wes Wax's crowning achievement, "Wax Tower" greeting visitors.

Wax Cove: Heyday

Decades later, Wax Cove is a bleak, barren place...

But how did it get like this?

Gambling city I am working on. Empty patch in the bottom right of first picture is because of a meteor strike that caused radiation.. right in the middle of downtown.

The color and tone are very reminiscent of SC3000 (I think) when played on low graphics settings. Nice job, considering the land limitations.
