Hmm... I've had a hectic past little while, but I'm done with exams and school now, so I have some free time, depending on what I end up doing this summer...
By the looks of it (the past few posts), there's been a little bit of action the past little while at ST, I guess that I have some catching up to do, I guess 41.gif

Hope that I'll be staying for a while this time, no unexpected leaves.

hi guys, sorry i haven't been back in awhile...

i'm going through some problems recently, i have a few issues i'm getting help for, but i need to work on this myself.  i have found myself recently unable to commit to anything for more than 5 minutes, and arent able to continue the tiberian project.  i hope i will be able to return, but i don't think i will return to BATing or ST for a long time.  i apologize to those who wanted me to continue the tiberian project, but please bear with me...

thank you, hope to see you again

There is some sort of weird spell over my family these days and I'm no longer able to avoid these problems by just ignoring them...Just today my father had an accident and we still don't know if he will be able to work again...

That's okay guys, RL, especially your family, has to come first!! And that's coming from an administrator. 12.gif  But feel free to check in with the Community and give us updates. 1.gif

Masher, in particular, I'm trying to get my wife to agree to do a voice over with me to put in the Our Voices thread and I was hoping to do it in time to get your feedback. 9.gif Of course there is the matter of actually getting The Magistrate/Forensic Mommy to actually come to my side of the computer...21.gif

TMS: to answer your question, it costs $ 2.50 per 1/2 hour and 3.00 per full hour.

I hated basic training while I was there, but now that I look back at it, it wasn't that bad at all. I'm glad to hear you're ready to go, thats the attitude you need to have and if you keep it up, you'll do fine. Trust me on this, you'll hate Warrior Week. I know I did, except for the marksmanship training. I was 9 points shy of making expert.45.gif  Anyways, my AFSC (job for the rest of you) is that of Security Forces or in other words, I'll be a cop. My classes don't start until Wednesday since I'm currently on a 4 day holiday, but I'm ready to get the next 13 weeks of training over with so I can go home to Georgia and visit my family.

If you want to know anything else, just PM me. I might not answer right away but I'll get back to you when I can.1.gif

It's 9:20 PM at the moment here in Nova Gorica and in less than 10 hours I'll be on the road and off to beautiful Spain. I'll be visiting Catalonia, the Basque Country, Cantabria, Navarra, La Rioja, Aragon and Andorra all in two weeks (and a half). We'll be camping so we have no set date for the return, but we expect to return between the 16th and 19th July...

Adios!

I dought that anyone even noticed, but ive just returned from a 3 week road trip, driving from Michigan, to Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada, and Alaska, and then back home again. Didnt quiet make it to Inuvik, but got within a 100 miles or so, since I got a flat tire in the middle of nowhere in the tundra, past the arctic circle. Then after hours of waiting for another human to come by, and help with the lug nuts, I got flat tire #2, a couple hours later. All in a big rain/snow/wind storm. Had to ride back 2 1/2 hours with my flat tire to the tiny village, then wait for somebody going back to my car. Ide like to know why they decided to use sharp slate rock, for gravel on the Dempster highway! Thank goodness for 24hours of daylight there anyways.

I really missed Simtropolis! Now im enjoying modern convienences like telephones, tv (the weather channel), groceries and gas available 24hrs, radio stations. They dont even have dairy products or fruits and veggies up there (or hardly at all). I feel so lucky that I have so much where I live now.

What the hell was all that? ^ *looked at trouble makers cock-eyedly* ..nvm.

Anyway, I'm at my aunts house, and will probably be here... For a little while, at least. I'll be here again Saturday. She's going to a wedding and will let me come over to use the computer. I have to print some resumes out and stuff. I might post my picture. I don't know yet. I'm thinking about it.

Edit: Oh, yeah, this part! K, my brother got a guitar for passing, and my dad said he'd get me internet.. then he didn't.41.gif So, my grandma said she'd gt it... then, she paid bills and was broke. But, if my dad pays my grandma back the money he owes her, she'll get it next weekend, I think thats arond the 15th. If not, she'll be paying it when she gets her next cheque on the 28th. She wrote a cheque already, she just needs the money in hr account, then we can get internet. It takes about 10 dfays to get it hooked up, though, (longest case scenario) so we might not be online until August 7th. Or so. I don't even know what today is, I think it's Thursday.. Right?

And I'll be back saturda- oh, I already said that.

We had beer butt chicken last night!44.gif

Okay, the internet bill is $181.93CAD. Send it to

D. Silve C/O Suncrest Villa
540 Oliver Road
Thunder Bay Canada
P7A.. umm, not sure what the rest is. Just put P7A for the post code, it'll make it to where it has to go.

Make sure in the envelope you put that it has to go to the yellow house across the street2.gif Maybe a double envelope or something. I'm not going to put my personal adress. I'm sure the guys in the apartment tower will know what yellow house means though. Maybe41.gif

Behind the Scenes: Ish: Okay, I'll admit, that was a horrible pun. Possibly my worst ever. Actually, at first, I considered just cancelling that entire post. I had gone through several drafts before choosing that, including a mock-break-up and a short skit involving me as a controlling housewife and DT as the washed-up husband. Though, I didn't feel like being called a knave at the time.

What, do you want me to apologise?3.gif

....back to the topic of the thread...heh...

I will be taking on an epic journey crossing 2/3 of America by train. I will be going from my hometown of Cleburne, Texas to New York City, via Chicago. I plan on taking lots of pictures and maybe starting a thread that shows some of my trip pictures if anyone's interested. I will be leaving on the 22nd of July and I won't be back till August.
