Yes the 03'ers like myself, and confused, and some of the admins amongst others (hmm where is Beebs) are still floating around.

@Duke: Actually, the shot you're showing was the ST incarnation I joined the site. I remember having downloaded several stuff from the STEX and the city names generator. The population counter was a bit higher, however.

Ah, Duke... Simtropolis.com was actually registered Dec 2, 2002... So our "official" birthday was about 2 weeks ago.

Prior to that, we were known as "SimCity-4.net", and then I created the name "Simtropolis" and in December, registered the domain.

Was there a banner such as these for the 2004 Trixies? Because if there was I don't have it. I know for 2003 we had this:

but that was just in the title bar of the site.

As I recall, the '03 and '04 winner announcements were more low-tech than is now common: just links with popups, no fancy reveal animations or anything like that.

Kinda cool looking at some of the earlier incarnations of the site. I've only seen as far back as ST5, though it's very possible I strolled through as a guest in the earlier years of the site. It's amazing how far the site has come.
