Very vibrant night reflections there! I'd like to find a map like that very time soon ;)

We, stardust, are the oddest observers of self (a.k.a. the universe).

I'm just a group of atoms typing this.

What do I know?

    Hi Kellydale.. wasn't sure what you're saying.. would you like me to post a copy of the image I used? If so happy to do so :)

    Re the Nightlights.. I had another thought, it was bugging me that the unlit floors looked a bit dead, almost void, and by de-lighting more floors I was just making more dead zones.. so I dimmed the lights instead.. I actually think it looks pretty effective.. thoughts?

    Here's a 'blue' day render too.. I actually quite like this.. it seems a bit more game-ish...and as I said previously, it doesn't feel like the Rialto unless its blue... let me know what you think, its pretty close to being ready to upload I think :)

    Thank you so much for sharing.  :thumb:  If you are looking for a building to work on, my suggestion is Southern Cross Station. Modern railway station BATs are rarelly seen in recent years, and I'm sure modelling this is as challenging and interesting as skyscrapers. :)

    Looks wonderful. The night reflections are a tad strong, but it certainly wouldn't stop me from using it.

    Here's my first attempt at textures for Bourke Place.. let me know what you think. I had to make the logo up for now because they're still attaching the new one.. It looks like its going to have a black background or something o.O

    Wow, it sure feels nice to read the latest posts in this thread that were made while I was on vacation. :golly: Rialto Towers look splendid, I have downloaded them already and will test them soon.

    Bourke Place generally looks fine to me as well, it seems to blend in just right. :) Is the wall material really so reflective, though? The side looks as if the wall was more reflective than the windows. Well, I guess it's all far from final anyway. What I definitely like is that this one will have a more manageable footprint and should therefore be very useful as a growable building.

    You keep doing stunning work, and I sure hope you'll keep it up.  :}

    Thanks Guys :)

    Twrecks, welcome back. Yeah, I was wondering about the reflections on the side angle, being white opaque glass tile I would have thought it would be more reflective than the darker semi-transparent glass of the windows... but apparently not! When I look at these photos, the blue glass reflects much more brightly than the white glass. This version has much darker glass, and I'm using Gutterclub's ground plane image he posted a while back to boost the colour reflecting back, and of course, lowered the reflections of the white tiles. looks better?... (I still need to work on the base some more)

    Your ground plane is reflecting the same on your walls as your windows at night.... You might want to take a look at that. Otherwise Holy crap wow that's lookin good.

    I also feel the base could use a good deal of work. Use the same attention to detail you give on your roofs to the base. It seems to be a pattern that you have these amazing, fantastic, beautiful buildings with extremely detailed roofs. And then your base is just pretty good. Anyone can do pretty good if they want to, but you can do great, so make every part of the BAT great.
