Its an aspect that i have ignored but when i dont have much content and I am still Dling stuff for buildings  the flora sorta gets left out

Update 46: Sculpting the rivers (again).. Dedicated to asturianu      

With all the new flora and terrain modifications created over the past month I decided to redo and then finish my river network in the town of Westfork.

I have three simple mosaics.. 

The first one is the mini lake at the top of the large hill that is connected to a Dam...

 ...and then turns into a waterfall and finally rapids...

Now turn the above picture 90' counter-clockwise, and that's where the next mosaic starts. It heads north up to the Slayfork Mill where (if you remember) is where I finished the last update...

It's great to finally see your flora in action Steve. Jeronij's, cycledogg's and your stuff already offer a great variety. Amazing what you've done with the area around the Slayfork Mill.  And the stumps (?) near the mine look great... great use, this was very inspiring.

Now the rivers, I love your variation of different water colors... I had something similar in mind for my State Park, if I only found the time to play... . Anyway, that was creative work here as usual my good friend.

I've never seen that dam before? is that some sort of spillway and you improvised it? it looks great. its very realistic how you have the water pipe coming from the cliff. Not all dams house their turbine hall right inside after all...

I like the water that you made, it has a good, industrial colour (grayish blue). I like the end of the rapids (with the water mentioned before) the first part contains some experimental stuff that is too squarish so it needs some polishing work.

Those tree stumps (did you made them yourself?) seen in update 45 are a great addition. I like it!

New Global Rock Mod:

Hello all, sorry too busy to answer comments today, I'll do that my next official update:

I have been playing around with rock mods. Here is the result so far. I used a test city, not a city from my journal.. Let me know (honestly) what you think..

I call it black granite. I think it blends in nicely with cycledoggs terrain..

When I have more mods ready to view check my BAT Thread (see my signature for a link).. That's where I'll be posting updates for this Mod from now on..

I missed a few updates and wow that river is great. And with all those big rocks around it is very impressive

I tried myself the RPK, but can't find a good way to use it. I will retry as 'nature&flora' lots in STEX has begun to be more and more impressive

About your balck granite texture, well it is black, too black for my taste. Also how does it render in region view ?

Hey Steve,

Really liked the last update, that green water of yours fit percfectly in that creek/river.

As for the rock mod, I agree with wouanagaine, it's a bit too black for my taste.

Though would be great if we could "paint" some different rock mods depending of the sector of our region, this one would fit nice in a very mountainous sector.

On the other hand, the pattern itself looks good, not too much repetition pattern if you know what I mean. The look flows quite naturally.
