I have been experimenting with rural towns and villages, and have just tried out the Ditch Set posted on the LEX (and here, I suspect). Not only does this set of little canals and scenes improve the appearance of my farming areas, increase the I-Ag cap, but it also waters the farm properly.

A considerable achievement, and fits very nicely with the SPAM from Pegasus.

Thank you.

It fits well with my rural European timber frame houses and keeps the farms healthy. it's multipurpose and realistic.

i found it the other day when looking for farms on the LEX to work w/the BSC/BTE lots and CAM and will use them extensively in a new city which will be largely a farming community and i have the ditch set in Wilmer now to test out the lots that i have and it looks really great.

"We'll be in too close for nukes. Same thing goes for missiles. No, this is going to be strictly a gun battle. Like two old ships on the line, slugging it out at point-blank range. I want the gun captains to do their job and start firing immediately and to continue to fire until they run out of ammo. Then, I want them to start throwing rocks." -- William Adama, Battlestar Galactica

SimGoober was definitely one of the greatest BATers in the community (though his lots tended to have an outrageous amount of dependencies). It's a shame he's no longer active.

Who knows? in his farewell realizes that was wanting a break this thing that was addictive SC4 for him, but I think that would not be able to get away from everything.

I thought it was sad to read some information, after seeing the title "In praise of SimGoober" but thankfully it was not that!

His things are still current ...
