Custom Content Appears Funky

When I go to place one of my custom content in SC4, the 5x and 6x zooms make the model appear like a funky glob of grey, with some spots in it. Like this:

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

You should be aware that zoom 6 will pixelate like this. It is not rendered, just blown up in size.

That's not the normal zoom 6 pixelation. Normally, you can still tell what the building/model is meant to be.

Maybe it is just a rendering error. If you made it, just start again from the gmax model. Otherwise, just delete if it is a download.

Indy, I made this using Lot Editor with SC4BAT (gmax).

Others, I will try again with gmax and see how the second model turns out.

Just as a matter of curiosity, what is it?

So, a couple of things to note about 1 x 1 BATs.

Yours looked like you tried to place it on a road edge. Not advisable.

You cannot fill even a 1 x 1 tile right to the edge. The system won't tolerate it. Give yourself a few cm. margin all around.
