Congratulations on your Trixies, Jeronij! I normally don't do this, but I just saw a building that I really like, so I have to ask you where you got it.. The building I'm talking about is the glassy building next to the harbors.. (They're featured prominently in the fifth and sixth screenshots..) Thanks in advance and great job with Simtropia!

Congrats Jeronij! Even though I never read your Sculpting Columbia River CJ all the way through, I know it is good. By the way keep up with your BAT items, you are doing great with the BAT. Congatulations to the other winners of the trixies too! 5.gif

Hey Jeronij!  I haven't posted here before.  I found your CJ about 2 weeks ago when I decided to revisit SimCity4.  All I can say is 'You are my Hero'!  I am really into Art, and your screenshots are definetly a work of Art!  I have been downloading for a few days now to try and do some 'artwork' myself. 19.gif

Sorry if you have answered this before, but I am curious about you.  How do you find the time to do all this work?  How old are you?  Is that your pic in your avatar, or your son??

Wallpaper?
Do you have a website?  I would really love to have a larger version of your very first CJ pic in the 'Sculpting Columbia River' thread for a Desktop Wallpaper.  I am currently using what you have posted here, but the resolution is too small for my desktop, and it looks grainy because it's stretched.

Hi Jeronij,

Congrats with the Trixie. It was well deserved and I think you inspired at least me but probably a lot of other people to play SC4 again and in a different way.
As I speak, I should start now using more plopables (but they glog my menus... 31.gif), I really love this refinery area. Great use of all those great bats. More pipelines are needed for sure.

Cool work, keep it rolling to us.

Jeroni,

My friend...your work is simply superb, and I'm glad to have been one of the people to nominate you for your Trixie.  Absolutely outstanding work my friend.  I am short on time with the arrival of our daughter, so I will rejoin you in the next update.

Until then, keep em coming... 44.gif

This is my first post on the forums. I've been following several CJ's but this CJ and the Brastoval Bay Area from Aleking are the ones that inspire me the most. Keep up the good work! 44.gif

Ps: Congrats with your Trixie! :D

    Hello dear Simtropia visitors,

Short of time again 34.gif. I just wanted to say you I am still alive 2.gif, and playing after some time without doing it. I have been using the STEX, the BAT and the Lot Editor to make some coal cargo docks lots. I hope you like them 2.gif

Very nice work on the harbor so far!

The Plamer Shipping Co. of Glen Harbor would like to engage in trade with Simtropia and have elected to send one of their cargo ships in hopes of reaching an agreement. You should see the good ship Yashimaro appearing on your harbor control tower's radar screen soon.

Anyway congrats on your awards and a big thank you for the harbor control tower ~ its one heck of a BAT.

    Wow, Jeroni!
This is a coal! Cool! 18.gif
Looks just perfect. I'm currently working on industrial port area in my region too, so it's really useful to see how do an expert like you make his port 19.gif

Only thing i could say about these last two pics: they are great, but high wealth pink sidewalks and high wealth lamp posts on the avenue looks kinda weird near the coal heaps 18.gif
May be you should change the wealh on the lots that are used there to the zero (000), or medium (002) or low (001) wealh? 30.gif
this could be more suitable here i think 19.gif

... but still the coal is cool, huh 29.gif

Your BAts are really coming alon and are looking great!

Congrats on your trixie, although I never read Sculpting Columbia River I'm sure it was a great CJ. 19.gif

I look forward to seeing a large update from you, they are always a fun read. The cranes do look very nice, although I'm confused about what the big black blobs below them are. 46.gif Oh and good use of the NOBs tankers.

    Keep it up Jeronij! 16.gif

    Jeroni,

Those coal docks look amazing.  I'm assuming you did the props yourself in the BAT.  You are rapidly becoming one of the premier BATters in this community!

Great work my friend... keep em coming... 44.gif

nice idea with the docks! but could you maybe try a more rough texture for coal? in my opinion the coal-surface is a little too flat.
