You make it look so easy and you keep on reminding us that the masters will always stay masters no matter how much us little people are trying to improve and no matter how many fresh, young talents emerge, you'll always be on top of the game. There are no flaws in your work.

Have to disagree with you there (except for the part about Jason of course) . Some of the best BATers currently around have only been here for a relatively short amount of time. There's certainly no rule that says the best BATers, or masters as you put it, have to be the people who've been here for the longest or are the most known/ respected in the forums. Your skills are only a reflection of how much you know.

I'm not sure what part of my post created the confusion, but I'll gladly try to make clear what my point was.

In no way was I trying to say that period of time is a guarantee of a quality of work. Or mastery. I am around for quite a while and I did not put myself in the same category as Jason.

I have simply tried to say that Jason does not try and fail and learn from his mistakes and tryouts, but rather there is little to criticize and to change once he has posted his progress. that's why i was referring to his work as to something that gives impression of effortlessness.

That is not to be confused with critique of the younger forces out there. I am aware of them, their potential and quality. I very much appreciate them. It's just that I do believe some people here are in the league of their own.

how do i place the oliver center together like it is in the teaser pics... the apartments are getting zotted... like the work, its a good project that turned out well... and then on a different note, where do i find the crime/police fix that takes care of large lots crime issues...

Wow, looks great! I was going to say that that looks like something right out of Toronto, but I guess Edmonton fits the bill too!

    Thanks guys!

Bipin:  ahh lovely :)  You've posted the area to the left before and it caught my eye, I'm glad to see it expanded with my buildings.  :)

Jack Wilds:  Make sure that the building has road access of some kind.  In the pictures there are side streets, and that's how sims get to the building.  I don't know exactly what police modd to use, but these lots are small enough that they should not be affected.

6459978.:  Thanks!  When I was making it I was reminded of your Crumby Arms BAT:)

With Oliver Place all wrapped up, the next few months will be some low key Version 2s.  I'll probably finish the Sojot Building first.

Well, those "low-key version 2s" will certainly appreciated by at least one member of this community!

And look whom you lured into your thread... it's 6459978!

Okay then... being more specific about this, that the apartments shop side faced the grocery store parking lot that configuration isn't working for me  shop side of the parking ramp [as the 'street side placement' faces away] ...

and then, the zotting ended when I found the right demand in the right neighborhood...

and then concerning the 'police modd' I am having big ot issues about crime numbers not with the Oliver place but other lots what modds do you recommend to end this crime blight...

then to add further is the signage as it all looks good but can't read any of 'em -hah, I am not as tiny as a sim to see to small... so then could you take a few sign picks to see what you said...

like teh oliver center it lends a greater central city feel for my cityscape...

Hi T Wrecks! Yeah, I come out of the woodwork every now and then... It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to hear that some people remember my BATs! I'd love to get back into it but that feels like a lifetime ago now. But the stuff Jasoncw and the newer generation of BATers is doing looks incredible, I'm always impressed.

Not only remember - I'm still using them! If you browse through CJ's, whenever someone builds neighbourhoods that are supposed to represent council housing or any other form of low-wealth / high density areas, your early BATs such as Bransfield House can still be seen. Just the other day, another user asked me about a lost dependency for those old low-wealth mega lot sets of mine, which I built around your BATs. I'm sure you still have what it takes to make a great BAT. :)

I still remember you and use your BATs and I still remember that University of Toronto building you were working on! :P

Jack:  As with any building, ploppable or growable, there needs to be enough demand and high enough desirability, but otherwise you just need a road connection.  For ploppables it doesn't matter whether or not the road touches the actual "front" of the building, it just has to touch somewhere.

Here's a HD render of the areas with signs (except the one side which had a small sign).  :)

The signs are made from screenshots in google map's street view, except for one of the family foods signs which was made using a logo from an image search.
