This journal is really green! It is so tight, Iam loving those docks and underwater flora.

All I can say is, wow.  Thanks for the road name.  And the citizenship.  Wow, I don't know what to say...I'm at a loss for words, congrats on the page ten.  And keep at it man!  Can't wait for more!  EDIT: Btw, it's now too late to celebrate page 10!  Glad you got it in already.

Thanks a bunch for the pass, but now I feel guilty for not being able to visit here in so long!!!
Theres some astounding updates ive seen, the rural highway looks spectacular and Im gonna fire up SC right after this and have a play around with it.
The reefs help make Wilminkton one of the best areas in ANY CJ ive EVER seen, everything about it is wonderful, although I think you posted one pic twice, I hope its not covering anything amazing!
I wich I could do mosaics, because each one you do shows even more of this amazing city.
Sorry for the rant, but you deserve it!

threestooges Welcome back Three Stooges!  Thanks, I really wanted to make that transition between land and water and I'm glad you liked it.  I also wanted to create something different with Wilminkton and I'm glad you think I pulled it off.  I'm going to try for a different direction with other parts of Green Depra too.  I use the Cobb pier, which I provided a link for in the beguinning of the post (I think) and I use an underwater flora mod (see below for link).  Cheers.

 

For Threestooges and jglei701, the water flora mod can be found in this thread. You need to go to gizmo's site and register to download it. Good luck

I'm so sorry I haven't updated, I have two I've done but don't have any time to upload them!  Its a combination of my internet being down and maths exams, but I promise I will have part one of an update up this time tomorrow!  But I guess the last update was a huge one, so it could last a little while!

 

I'm dissapointed that page 10 ended before I really got into the celebrations!  But at the same time I'm really happy about all the support I've been getting! 

 

Green Depra is still celebrating their 50th birthday though, so you will see many pictures of those celebrations, which include a parade and a huge concert!  Heres a prievew:

Wilminkton is a better place than I could have ever imagined. The tranquility that is in its atmosphere is unique. The piers and the Cobb hotel resort are unique in every respect.

Those shops on the pier, just beautifull.

 

I am honored that you named such a beautiful town after me.

Those ancestors where a bunch of drinkers indeed. I wonder where that brewery went to? (hint, hint).

Update 20

 

Green Depra Turns 50!

 

Yes, it has been 50 years, GD time, since the first Deprovians landed on its green shores.

 

And its time to celebrate...

 

There are two major events which will happen in the week, the Parade and the concert...

 

The Half-Centinnial Parade is a unique Green Depra idea...

 

A parade dedicate not so much to the people but to the plants of GD, its an honour to nature, which has shared itself and given part of its land to the Derovians, this parade is one way of giving it back and is the largest street parade in GD history.

 

It follows a path across Blackberry Inlet...

Shortly before the parade begins, the street had been cleared and dressed up, it was eirily quiet and no-one was to be seen...

 

 

 

But quickly, the sidewalk fills with people and the road is covered with floats...

 

 

 The parade is passing some Blackberry Inlet apartments, and there was not one resident which did not run to the streets to see the colourful floats.

 

 

There is a float with a small statue on it, it is in dedication of the first Mayor (and founder) of Green Depra, Ben White.  The current Mayor of Green Depra, a one Darmok Strassard is standing behind him, playing the crowd!

 

 

A band is now playing where the Mayor was standing, they are a Home Grown Depra band, known for their own Indie Sound.  They are called The Redbirds and they are a hit with Green Depran teens.

 

 

 

 The kids are running into the streets and dancing, one float is handing out free multi-coloured balloons.

 

 

 

The parade hurries on, it has more places to visit..

 

 

It passes through some bush, where surprisingly there is still many people watching, it is another way for the parade to be amongst nature.

 

 

It passes by a small group of houses, to the citizens delight.

 

 

Several floats are covered with beautiful flowers, which have been grown in Fur Hills for many months.  Hundreds of people contributed to the tapestry of flowers and it gave them a real community feel. 

 

 

The town of Blackberry Inlet is filled with the sound of drums, and laughter and music...  The city was coming alive...

 

The parade passes through some more bush, to the shock of many wild animals before it coninued to the city centre...

 

 

The floats drove past some small shops, and people got out to celebrate..

 

The people on the floats were throwing out flowers to the public, and everywhere you want people were shouting out about Green Depra turning 50.

 

 

 

 

The parade started reaching the city, this was a turn out of all the artistic people in the city and everyone was getting in.  Excitement was everywhere as everyone honoured the achievements of Green Depra and its people.

 

The small nation has come along way since its humble beginnings...

 

And everyone was going crazy with that knowledge.

 

 

The parade reaches the inner town...

 

 

The parade of flowers and life, known as Natures Parade has reached the city...

 

But what will happen when it finishes..

 

To see that and the Concert of Colour then you are going to have to wait for next update...

Wow.. Green Depra's parades are so much friendlier than Chaumonts parades.. Great job with this.. Amazing variation on the parade theme and absolutely stunning.. If you don't mind, I'm just going to sit here and admire those pics after I've submitted this comment that doesn't even begin to express what I think of these pictures..

 

I think Green Depra is becoming another favorite visit for me!

Thanks mate.  It comes with the Water Flora Mod, but I use a lesser version of the normal water mod, which makes your water almost completely transparent. It was edited by jeronji and can be found HERE.

sim1234 and Goldfish4209 and Shadow_Assassin They aren't photshopped, nor are a plugin really.  Well, I guess they are a plugin.  I made them out of Maxis Props in the Lot Editor.  Nothing special really!  Simple to make, although they are not functional or real, but they are nice eye candy!

Love those simple details like the fences alongside the parade, the police looking at the crowd, the staue on one of the trucks.

I also like those appartments (Andreas's I believe). I have them my self also a lot but here tey are so neatly alongside eachother.
