I just noticed a three bugs:

- The user names at the forum posts are missing.

- The title bars gets screwed up starting from the chat section.

- The CJ section gives an error for me, so I can't view it.

I hope these two site bugs get fixed soon...

Also the user awards link in the Awards bar is also broken but I guess this one of the things being worked on right now

EDIT: Actually I just realized that nots working cause the profiles are broken, I guess that's why the usernames are not showing up

They should be sorted by last post date. Mine is, and it looks correct... screenshot of what you're seeing?

Here they are - as you can see, there's a bit of jumping around in the dates in the rightmost column...

This is explained directly from the IPB Developers:

Ok.. There is logic to it, it's just confusing.

When you go to Find My Content, what you see is newest to oldest topics where that user has posted.

HOWEVER.. The confusing part is that the "Last Post" info shows the last post time in the TOPIC.. Not the last post time for the user.

So.. An example..

I post on January 1st in a topic.. someone replies yesterday.

I post in Topic 2 In February.. No replies since then.

That's going to show topic 2 - topic 1..

Which is right, Newest to oldest, based on my replies.

However.. Last post info will show February for topic 2, and yesterday for topic 1.

It's confusing.. Not going to disagree with that..

Well, not that it makes any difference at the moment, as it appears "My Content" is broken - nothing populates the lists in My Forum content or My STEX content when I click on them...it just comes back with no items on the list...

Well, that was some "growing pain", I hope everything is fully recovered. All seems OK so far, but I did notice that I had to do a screen shrink now to get the entire home page onto my desktop. Looks very good.

Something odd has been happening this evening.

When I want to return to the top of a forum and click the forum name just above the add reply button, sometimes the systems seems to hang. If I stop the request and return to the shortcut in my browser, the page is presented immediately.

Is it possible that the command given by clicking the named shortcut on the page sometimes goes awry?

Is the Search new? Last time I searched 'Monorail' I got "0 results"... today I got 66 - and fast

I specially like the new CJ startpage (inside an individual CJ, not the community startpage) - without the images it's fast and easy to scroll thru...

Stex - well, judging by the looks it's probably still in the works - but I mention it anyway... the ratings are back to the unsharp 1-2-3-4-5 stars (no more 4.75)...

I have a suggestion. How about using Facebook Fans of Simtropolis page to notify people why is the site down and for how long it will be down. Yesterday when I tried to get here, it led me to the page saying "there is no website registered at this address' so I flipped out for quite some time wondering what happened. Will you consider this? I know you are using Twitter but notifications like 'we will be back soon' are insufficient imho. What are the chances this will happen?

I don't know what's been going on recently, but I have been entirely unable to use this site during the last few days. Whenever I tried to call up the forum section, I saw an error message - after the site had been down altogether. Today I noticed that it works again, albeit at absolutely sluggish speed. It also failed to load all graphicss. Nevertheless, just today I gave a lengthy answer to someone with a problem, and the reply couldn't be processed because the site was unavailable again, everything was lost. Now it seems to be working again (albeit still very slowly, at least on my end). STEX comments sometimes work, sometimes they don't - just won't appear, page simply reloads. This is really getting frustrating. I wonder whether I wouldn't be better off coming back in a month or two.

EDIT: I watched the clock after hitting "reply" - the site just took more than five and a half minutes to add my reply and re-load this page. I fear this edit will take equally long - if it gets through at all. Speaking of edits, I always need to hit the edit button twice because after clicking it for the first time, all that happens is that "Loading..." is displayed briefly, but then it disappears and nothing happens.

I'd really like to be all over the forums, following BAT developments and helping out whenever I can, but I feel that I'm slowly losing my motivation. A time-out might be a better option than risking that frustration takes over and stops me from coming here altogether. Well, we shall see...

Since the last outage, the response time has been irregular. Maybe I was the first one on today at 0730 EDT, but it took a very long time to load the first page indicating that the server probably had to load up the site. In fact, it took so long, that I canceled my load, and went for the home page instead. Then I had time to look at the weather channel for today's forecast while the page was loading.

It is a good thing this browser can multi-task or I would be sitting here staring at a tab saying "Loading ..." for extended periods.

Most of the time the response is instantaneous, but there are frustrating times when I can go make a coffee and come back and still am looking at "Loading ...". Perhaps some load-leveling needs to be done, or a talk with the server people about their swapping policy?

I am surprised people are having problems with the site loading. The speeds are real great for me, and I spoke to some other members who also agreed that the site speed was heightened after this last time out.

It's lickety-fast for me...? I know it does experience slow downs esp. if I'm doing some database stuff, I will usually just shut the board down if we have to do some resource intensive tasks. In general, it should be pretty responsive, I see no problems at the moment and there are just over 320 people online.
