I read it as pon (pawn) three but seeing as it is a pony it might be pronounced pōn E (pony). Of course standard leet would pronounce p0n3 as pone (pwn). It would be very different with a B.

Nonono, "pon" and "pawn" are not pronounced the same. "Pawn" is pronounced how it looks: paaawwwwwn. "Pon" is pronounced like "pond" without the d. It rhymes with "con".

Pawwwwn? Like pound without a D? I live in Seattle. I don't hear NY accents often. I usually hear British (London mostly but also Welsh and Scottish), Samish jargon (potlatch, salmon, skukom), California informal (media and some friends) and continental American (spoken in Midwest and west coast).

"Pawn" rhymes with "prawn". The "aw" in it is pronounced exactly like the word "awe". Or as it is in "saw". Or as in "awwww, that's so cute!"

"Pound" has an "ow" sound (as in "ow! that hurts!"), not an "aw" sound.

Okay then.

Actually, I think I sorta can see it... "I'm in ah at that" (I'm in awe at that) is a believable accent. Which could also I suppose lead to "pawn" being pronounced kinda as previously discussed ("pahn to d3"). I would associate this with a Massachusetts accent. Although I confess to having no idea what people in Seattle talk like. Closest I've even been is Colorado, and the one thing accent-wise I recall taking from that is that they pronounce it "Cah-lo-rad-o", not "Cah-lo-rah-do".

Just saw the latest episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and while in general I think it's a great show, this particular episode ("Massacre") totally creeped me out, what with the zombies and creepy ceremonies and all. However, I was happy to see General Grievous be totally awesome and eliminate the Nightsisters clan (with the exception of Asajj Ventress, who escaped with a wound to the shoulder). The Grievous vs. Ventress duel was also cool; 6 lightsabers (two red ones for Asajj, two green and two blue for the General) is the most I've ever seen in one duel... ok, I'll stop now.
