No, I think it's deserving of the crap it gets. They look ugly without colour-coded bumpers for a start. Then there is the meagre performance, the 1.3l in them puts out. It's far outclassed by the 1.0l engine of the late 90's Nissan Micra in terms of power, reliability and fuel economy. Still, when you could get one for £4,000 new, it was hard to argue against, for a while the cheapest new car in the UK I think.
