SC4, I like the Chicago and New York tilesets.

Which versions of Simcity have you played before.

Probably writing.  I write a lot less during the holidays (for obvious reasons) but I still put a lot of words down almost every day.  Days I don't write I edit.  It's one of my goals to get published, and my absolute dream to make a living off of it.

Do you like writing?  Why or why not?

Yes, this is my way of giving life to my ideas and as well as leisure. In writing, I create my own world where I control everything and I like that. :P

What can you say about our society now?

I lately got interested in the thesis of Alain Ehrenberg "The exhausted self". Individual freedom normally is judged only positive. People forget that there are negative side effects. There is a pressure in freedom - the pressure of being someone. From this pressure arises a desire for orientation (in ethics). That's a negative side-effect of freedom – as ethics can be discussed it looses its liability. That's even why ISIS becomes atractive to young people - as a denial of a neverending discurse on "who am I", on belief, ethics, values. The denial of rationality. ISIS kills it all, cutting freedom down to a single truth.

So I personally think, our societies are in danger, as they search orientation and don't find it anymore. And there are many confidence trickster out there offering orientation.

To chop a tree for christmas – does this harm nature or is it alright? What do you think?

I am unable to chop down a tree...goes against my grain. Cutting it down to have it going to the garbage pile after 2-3 weeks breaks my heart.

If you were a bird, which one would you be?

Well the collection of 13 round objects for good luck and jumping high to gain more height. Not to mention that belief that if you do something on January 1 then you will be doing it for the whole year.

What is education for you?

Average, I think. We have ten public holidays, and people in the public service have (maximum) 4 days more. I think Germany has more holidays, for example. Oh, and people who work for the European Union have 20 days. They don't need to work between December 24 and 31.

How big is your Christmas tree?

I don't know if I really admire a lot of famous people.  They're just people after all, and putting someone on a pedestal only leads to disappointment when you find out just how human they are.  Like, it's amazing what Steve Jobs was able to accomplish, but there is almost NOTHING about him that's admirable.  The guy was a complete scumbag who stole from and cheated his colleagues out of anything he could, who treated his own family like dog excrement and his employees even worse.  I think what Adrian Peterson does as a football player is incredible, but he has an army of children across the country with multiple women and he spent the season in court instead of on the field because he got in trouble for whipping one of them, with further allegations that there was more abuse he doled out.  I just don't know about admiring people I haven't actually met, and there are a lot of famous people who are totally scuzzy behind the scenes.

What do you want most for Christmas this year?
