The Great Server Move of 2010

Hello everyone,

This Thursday, April 15, the great server move of 2010 will take place.  The ST server will be physically removed from its home and moved to a new one.

It pretty much goes without saying that ST will be offline on that evening while the move takes place.  If everything goes the way it should (cross fingers) then the downtime should only be around 90 minutes or so.  

The new location of the server will be in Toronto.  Should anyone wish to come and visit, I will be selling tickets at $50 per person.  Payment in cash only.

Emma Watson's birthday is also April 15th, but enough about that right now...

I hope the server finds its new home very comfy, it will be recieving housewarming gifts from me along with a box of assorted cookies in the mail.

Its actually not the toaster, but the bread. Once in a while, it gets burnt so they have to pop out the bread and put in new bread. because no one likes burnt toast!

Haha, ahh those were the days! Back when the Toaster was only  a two-slice, not even upgraded to a 4 or an 8-slice yet. Its grown up so fast.

Took a tad longer than expected, but we are back. Server is safely secured in its new home. There may be a couple of reboots as we get settled and update our new ips and so on, but we're all well and good. Cheers..
