Need4Camaro: Wow, nice video! I like how you combined avenue, highway, and RHW to biuld your route. You are a bad driver though LOL, speeding, slamming on the breaks, hitting other drivers! Oh ya, and cool music too.

Like I said to others, I (personally) dislike the sharp turns you have included in your curves and interchanges because they look very unrealistic. Instead of having a 90 degree turn, try to gently curve your roads into a diagonal bend, as it will look much better!

EDIT:  Well, while I am here I may as well post another one of mine.  Its a crazy overpass/interchange mess, eh?

haljackey - Thank you for the comments. The project contends on being an ever lasting project meaning what you see will not be the final product. The highways change as the cities grow. Hopefully the MIS will be out soon though, that will REALLY make these highways awsome. As for the curves, some interchanges are eventually going to be rebiult (The Tuckaway Highway / Lantia Pkwy Interchange in the beggining of the E/W Connector video and the Exit 8 interchange on Hwy A2 with Hwy 2...) to reduce the amount of curves. Minor issue is, it will reduce the amount of usable land but I guess its safety first... we can always zone dense if we have to...

... As for the comment regarding my driving... eh... I think I've done my just due... ...It's hard holding a Camera and controlling a car (especially an exotic car, I was forced to use a slower car because the traffic on the 202/A2 Tollway)

I have the actual highway sign images I used in the blue hope city journal if you care to visit sometime and see what they really say...

This is just a basic interchange, the main part of it is the bridge approach. I used various NAM items to make it. The part right before the bride is on raised land, and is ground highway, then i used the onslope highway piece and the extended transition piece, the area is new, so there are just roads there for now, and the offramps are the NAM Euro Lateral ramps.

Thanks!  I don't have a CJ, although I wish I did.  This thread is the closest thing that comes close to a CJ for me.  If I had more free time, I would have liked to make a CJ.  However, I did start a CJ last year that failed.  You can view it HERE.  Pretty bad, eh?

Thanks for the invite!  I may check it out sometime.  Oh, and I do use your signs a bit, too.  Here's an example:

Xyloxadoria:  Nice bridge approach, I like it!  However, shouldn't your diagonal roads be converted from a road to a one-way road because no one would use the other direction? I thought I should point that out.

Anyways, I will have some new ones to post soon.  Keep showing us your interchanges!

Another great looking interchange. The sunken highway looks great. I also like those flowers. Looks very realistic.

haljackey - Dude that was an AWSOME CJ! 2.gif sorry about that but I found it alittle funny how you more less asked a question and never showed back up. But I understand because it's very very time consuming running a CJ. Glad you like the signs... They're Yoshiisland's from FBC (Fantasy Biulding Creation). He did a really nice job on the request. Thats the cool thing about the Blue Hope City Journal... everyone gets to lend an hand to give and get what they want... Everyone gets to contribute...

Smarty218:  Well, like I said, this is the closest thing to a CJ for me, so I can update this from time-to time

    bbfan02: Thanks!

    Need4Camaro: I'm glad you liked it 3.gif

    politicman: Thanks!

Well, being an "enigizer bunny", I will try to keep it going with some new pictures.  Let me know what you think. 5.gif

I nearly died when I saw Xyloxadoria's elegent bridge interchange; it was so breathtakingly simple and straightforward without taking up a lot of space, leaving plenty of room for development, and the detailing is so nice no one would complain of the noisy neighbor. absolutely wonderful! I will have to try this; how did you match the terrain on opposite ends of the river and where did you find your embankment prop? Anyone can answer these questions...

    good work everyone!!
