May I present to you, the 2009 Trixie Award Winners.

Congratulations to all the winners this year -- well-deserved all around.  Thanks again for participating everyone.  We really had a blast reading through all your comments!  What a great year for city-building, with lots of new great stuff for SimCity 4 as well as a new city-building game from Monte Cristo to boot.  

With Cities XL coming late in the year, the awards are understandably modest for the CXL categories, but I'm sure we'll have a lot kudos to give out this time next year.  

It's been a great 2009!  Happy holidays and enjoy the Trixies!

i wanted to say something to all of you as not to leave anyone out, but what mattered the most to me was the people who nominated me and the nice things they had to say to me, meant more to me than winning i think, thank you all who either voted for me or made comments in such a nice way, really was appreciated..

the runner up in this catagory was Blue lightning (vince).. i wanted to mention he is the most helpful chatter ive ever seen ,

he answers the most questions and has helped the most people in the chat room..

so id like to say a special thanks to Vince ...

I was so close, runner-up for both CXL CJ awards, oh well, they say 2nd best ain't good enough, I actually think sometimes in many competitions the better one is 2nd place, and it's better being 2nd place (that way you can continue on without being bombarded by first place fame and prizes). But nah.

I, have to admit. I was completely surprised to see myself nominated for Best Newspaper, when I was really aiming and hoping for Best Story or something along those lines. But I'm still happy to have won a Trixie in my second year as an ST loyalist.
