Chapter 7: Pathways to Victory

Things have been very busy at Queensferry Military Command, located in the heart of the nation's capital. Plans have been made and approved for a significant naval task force to be dispatched to the west. Air support will first gather data on enemy targets. Afterwards, combined air, naval and ground forces will commence the retribution.

Soldiers and military hardware are moving out of Fort Monkey Biscuit.

Planes from nearby Yutz AFB have been called to report to the carrier group assembling off the west coast. Both combat and support planes are on the move.

Peachbird AFB in downtown Luzerville received similar orders.

General Sidious reports that ground forces are now battle ready and being deployed to the carrier group.

A fleet of military vessels assembled at Unity Naval Base has gathered thousands of soldiers and hundreds of planes. The fleet will be divided into three carrier groups. The first will be associated with the QFS Cricket Chirp, the second with the QFS Plump Termite and the third with the QFS Holanguage. The flagship is Commodore Vader's QFS Toxichemical. Commodore Vader reviewed the orders: proceed west to the enemy's eastern coast and conduct flyovers to assess military capabilities and determine the best locations for an invasion force. Engagement with enemy forces was to be avoided if at all possible in order to preserve the element of surprise. Data found in the surveillance would be relayed back to Queensferry so that the invasion forces, already in position, would be ready to strike as soon as locations have been selected.

The task force is now underway. Carrier Group 1 is in the lead. Full speed ahead until the rendezvous point has been reached. The fleet will sit approximately 200 km off of the east coast of enemy territory to avoid possible detection. At the rendezvous point, the three carriers participating in Operation Death Star 2 will begin the high altitude flyovers and report back to base. The results of the surveillance were shocking.

This high wealth nation was largely undeveloped and had as its defensive structures a few old castles and a walled town. Defeating this enemy was going to be extremely easy!

When word reached Queensferry about the defenseless nature of the enemy leaders' exoskeletons filled with joy. Easy plundering with minimal losses will not even need propaganda to keep the population in check. This victory would actually be as epic as the one portrayed in the state controlled media.

Schulmania's Archduke Bower, laboring away as a prisoner in Uleic Acid Pit #148, hears his captors toasting their imminent victory with glasses of Oil of Onimay. He knows all too well what their target is. Can he escape and save them? Of course not! Buggula is infallible and invincible. All hail Buggula! Death to all!
