Chapter 5: Resolutions

As a new year begins in the fabulous and glorious Queensferry Union, after a toast of Oil of Onimay to ring in the new year, minds are forced to turn to a set of new year's resolutions. As always, our inspired leader, Buggula, has devised a set of resolutions for all citizens to obey.

Resolution #1: Increase effectiveness of Infestation Centers by 20%. Those who doubt the value of this have not yet had a slice of Uncle John's seven layer "apple" cake with a tall glass of Oil of Onimay. We can correct such an oversight.

Resolution #2: Increase industrial production by 10%. Chemicals are our friends. And while it is true that the government is stockpiling he amounts of industrial surplus for unknown reasons, just remember that aroma you detect is the smell of money being made. Also, remember not to ask questions. Questions are for losers and answers are painful.

Resolution #3: Be more supportive of secret military-industrial projects which siphon off government money. Remember, obedience brings victory.

Resolution #4: Travel more! Explore beautiful, scenic Queensferry. Non-Essential Travel Permits now allow residents to drive up to one hour without passing through security checkpoints. So, why not go out and have some fun?!

The recently opened Highway 666W offers convenient access to towns as far west as Weevilville to as far east as Husksburg. Buggula has provided adequate security to assist drivers with not being distracted by seeing secret facilities and to prevent wasteful detours off of predetermined pathways. Luckily, heavy military and police surveillance will help you stay on course and make sure you don't see anything you shouldn't see. If you know what I mean.

Perhaps, drive the new Ringworm intersection, the first of its kind. This highway junction replaces the congested intersection of Highway 666W and Highway 1313.

Resolution #5: Help Queensferry to finish preparations for a retaliatory strike against the oppressors from across the sea. Avenge the countless deaths they have inflicted! Prepare for victory! Revenge shall be ours! Death to all! Buggula triumphant! Death to all!

Chapter 6: Prepare for Smackdown!

The time for revenge is at hand! The oppressors from Schulmania shall be defeated! Our propaganda machine has worked wonders in helping the citizenry mobilize against this invasive threat. Right now, our forces are mobilizing to return manifold the destruction rained down upon our land. If you did not notice the destruction rained down upon our land, it is only because the benevolent and efficient Buggula workers repaired it all so fast. Trust me though, it was some serious damage.

The first step in preparing for a military strike is fully equipping your forces. A task force under the command of Lord Smirque of Accolade has commandeered supplies from across western Queensferry to supply the troops. If your property was seized, be very proud. Or else.

Additional workers have been bused in from as far as Antenna Bay to meet production quotas.

Lord Smirque has ordered supplies of explosives and aviation fuel to be tripled immediately. Stores of each will be kept both at military bases and here, at Smirque's headquarters, the Segmentarium.

Everyone is getting into the spirit. Of course, a hearty dose of uleic acid does encourage cooperation.

Military products destined for Schulmania soil are stacking up at freight transit centers.

Nearly 100,000 citizens have been detained and conscripted to join the counter-invasion force. These worker drones will form the backbone of the invasion force. Once the softening of coastal defenses has been successful, trained military will take over and destroy the enemy.

Troop trains are whizzing past many neighborhoods on their way to bases and infestation centers.

To ensure loyalty and just for the flavor, added uleic acid capacity has been added. More will be needed to make the Oil of Onimay to feed the troops and quell pesky non-loyal thoughts in the general populace.

Queensferry residents often spend an inordinate amount of time staring at one another. Perhaps they are gauging the loyalty of their neighbors. All residents know to notify authorities by dialing *BUGG from any phone if they suspect someone of insufficient bugginess or not being under the influence of Oil of Onimay. This is not the only aspect of the military campaign hitting high gear. Any observer (note staring proclivity mentioned above) can see that the military is preparing for action. Gen. Erby has stockpiled missiles and warheads. This can't be good... for our enemies.

Increased activity around Caustic Corrosive Air Force Base indicates aerial surveillance and/or attack may be imminent.
