So, I try to re-upload some old BATs by request of a friend and now we are getting complaints about the missing stuff? Ah, gotta love this place.

and nice work on those BATs of yours a few pages ago. You know I just realized, I still have your old NYBT Transportion Building you sent me in an email, thanks to the fact I never deleted the email. If you want it back, I'd be happy to give it to you!

JTF, your stuff is coming along amazingly amazing. Or I could say some fancy nice big word but I don't want to google something right now. Just know, that's awesomeness.

And LivingInThePast, what connections were there with them and NYBT? From what I recall, I was friends with Kryptowhite, and he was part of our team and TG, but non of NYBT including myself at the time were involved in some double team connection or whatever. My missing BATs were caused by me, not by STEX Moderators or Administrators removing them.

To those who are complaining about the missing BATs, be patient! Enjoy what NYBT members are currently giving you. Don't pester us constantly, please. And sorry NYBT members, it might be my fault that that is happening since I used to post 2 or 3 updates a day...

No, not really. You don't need to censor yourself (also no one will censor you, let alone ban you) when it is used in context (a la Sgt Pepper), but the team (and therefore and its discussion) is not welcome on ST. I'm not going to go into it, enough has been mentioned already. If you really need to know the ''whos'' and ''whys'', ask Zelgads.

Sgt Pepper: I have been browsing though my plugins folder looking for some of the NYBT stuff, but nothing is showing up yet (I know I have the Version tower thingy). I don't remember downloading a great many of them (only a few here and there). The more you can add to that list the more I can use as search criteria in my enormous plugin folder

I have something to ask you. Nowadays, Hanson is working on my tower of Bank of America espcially for nightlighting and to fix some other stuffs. But I would like to upload it first just to see how does it look. I ve try this week end, unfortunately, after 3 days uploading, I ve been obliged to stop (too long and not finished!). So I wonder if someone could upload it in the BAT for me, and then, sending to me the model file (ready for the plug in manager)? The file I have is a gmax format.

Personally I think you should let them be put on the STEX individually as they were before such that folks can have easy access to the things they want rather then digging though this thread or picking though a big pack of things they may not want.

Sorry for bringing up the topic about the other BAT team.

One of the things I kind of like about NYBT (at least, in theory) is they managed to make New York buildings that weren't overtly landmarks/skyscrapers. I'd like to see some "historic" (read: demolished) NYC buildings, if it's possible.

I think I had it like HIP for the zip file. Please tell me someone has Home Insurance Plaza(HIP) somewhere? Sorry to interject on this conversation we have going here, but I think I'll raise some concerns. Ones that will be unsolvable until I get back from Pennsylvania*. Oh well, I suppose they have to be solved sooner or later, why not now?

This is pretty generic, you get the idea of what color things should be based on random Maxis buildings I have in there. For one, the saturation does look a bit high, especially on the building 6 (going left to right), and possibly the two pink buildings, 1 and 4, (though that may be just a bit too bright). Speaking of brightness, how does building 2 look [the really short one]? It looks a tad bright to me, but that's just my opinion. The parapet tops on the roof access for building 1 also looks a bit bright, as well as the center parts for the roof accesses roofs on 5 and 6. Otherwise, I think these are coming along pretty well.

In other news, I still don't know whether to use planes or boxes for the part that's below ground. I'm pretty patient, but an answer... anytime... would be great. Before I get really RAGE-tastic-y.

I'll see (well, not see you, you know what I mean!) everyone on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. It all depends on how late I get back Sunday* and how busy Memorial Day Parades tend to be. Have a great long weekend!

you should change the background of your previews from Black to about 30-40% gray. It will allow you much more accurate judgment of both brightness and saturation levels right there in GMAX. It will also (if left for the export) prevent that thin black outline that sometimes remains around the model. As a result you models will blend better into surroundings in the game.

Shorty building looks imho fine - I mean if you make it to look off-white. It's definitely not too bright. But pink ones to red. they should be more towards brown and last one is oversaturated and too red as well...

If we to continue speaking of color than imho green of fire escapes is too clean and too, well, green. Needs to be more muddy I think...

And from what I re-call, Lucky7 lotted it and there is some dependencies for it, so keep that in mind. I also have your old Transportation Building(found it attached to an old email you sent me) and if you want it, I'll send it back.
