There should be a full-out candy store where you can trade in your points!

They probably do, along with rates your uploads get because I only have 1400+ forum posts and over 3500 points.

There doesn't seem to be any use to them except to show how much you've contributed to the site, at least so far. I'm curious to see if there will be a list for the users with the highest amount of points.

agreed, its not on post count only I have 21 non post points because i'm at 408. I recomend that anyone who has anything in a non forum section such as the STEX comment or such and see. maybe deleted posts are part of it? IDK but I doubt thats all because theres no way you can delete so many posts that you have 5x more points than posts.

Post size may have something to do with it, I just got 5 points on this post. interesting, now at 412

I got a CJ, Waterbridge, i'm not a hyperlink expert but search it and it should come up :)

Deleted posts wouldn't show up anymore.. Likely, it's a combination of your CJ score, STEX score, forum post count and blog activity.. with a few other factors thrown in.

After having tried it, deleted posts don't remove any points.

Edit: Posting in here gives me 1 point.

I'm also curious to see if the smiley has anything to do it. Since the points came online, my smiley went from the very happy one we saw before to one with a smaller smile. (Actually, I'll take a picture)

Anyone else get this? I noticed fukuda did. Anyone still have the sheepish grin?

Actually, I was going to auction off some of my points on eBay. I hope your PayPal account is in good standing. 3.gif

The smile changed, but if you hover your mouse over it, you'll find what standing you're in. That's supposed to be a smiley face, which means you're in good standing. I don't know if anyone actually has anything other than that.

Next to that, moderators have little icons indicating so. I'm guessing there are other icons too.

I'd be interested to learn how the points are calculated.

I think this one is the same "rank" as the other one... I've got the same little guy.

Yeah, it seems like most people have.

I liked the other guy better, he was happier.

Oop.. now I have a really eager fellow up there. 41.gif

simsamerica- No, I don't think leagues would count. If it's anything like the old Sporeum evo system, it takes a bunch of factors into one big calculation that spits out a final number.. it'd be too difficult to keep track of all the leagues that are out there and input them manually.
