I finally updated my desktop again, I'm using the "Zune" theme for XP (found in some obscure corner of the MS website that no one ever visits). The pic is Noe Valley in SF, found on wikimedia (and yes, Duke, I saved it as a 100% quality JPEG in GIMP). I also have a Windows Neptune machine with the same background that I am setting up for Internet Radio.

New desktop, based on the forthcoming third installment in the Shooting Star Rockman series (known as Megaman Star Force in Europe and North America). This news just broke a little over two hours ago.

Since the png version is 1.66 MB (too big for imageshack), you'll unfortunately have to settle for a jpeg version with a little fuzziness on the icons and taskbar.Seeing as I am probably one of about five people on the entire planet who's actually bothered by that, you should be able to manage.

All I have to say is.... oh hells yeah.
