It has been a year, but I thought it would be a fun model to try.

@debussyman

Did this ever get released -- ??

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

(Harry Lime to Holly Martins...Graham Greene's THE THIRD MAN...1949)

I wish I knew how to BAT.  Here are some cool vintage ones.   Howard Johnson hotel, some even had a Diner in them.   Also the vintage Holiday Inn hotel with the funky sign

This maybe more cosmetic for Jetfoil as crash speed is very low in the build in game excercisis . A good Hovercraft would be awesome to have on the water of our world !

Hope someone want to take up the challenge to create a automata !

Sincerely yours,

Kschmidt

Hope some

Not sure if this is the appropriate place (and this may cross over with can’t find it ask here since, while I’m fairly certain these never got released, they may exist in a place I haven’t found), but was wondering on the status of two industrial projects from @Simmer2 and @MushyMushy

I came across these in Simmer’s lot thread over on SC4D: the flare stack

and the grungy piping

Mainly just curious about their status and excited to use them if they ever became available.

Appreciate all the work regardless.

Automated Notice Message

All posts after 1 March, 2026 @ 01:37 GMT were lost in the site crash.

We've added this message thread divider in every topic across all forums for what were then active threads. (We decided active is if the most recent extant post (from the backup) was on or after 1 January, 2026.)

This divider serves as notice that the conversation was interrupted. Answers and further discussion which used to be here have been lost. Keep this in mind when replying. Our hope is to rebuild what is missing.

I am Lab Rat.

20 years after I quitted BATting as a XDesign (you can find my files on old account on STEX) I would love to have those in my city: These are 4 Warsaw modern skyscrapers/buildings:
1. Warsaw Unit

Flamanville Nuclear Power Station

flamanville_nuclear_power_station_800x600.jpg.cd114a7ebe383ac5a1d960ab3119a9be.jpg

Note: Satellite photography of the entire facility premises is censored across most services (presumably per request of the French government). Aerial and ground photography of the site is generally not, however.

Description:

My request is the Flamanville nuclear power station situated in Flamanville, Manche, France. Its newest unit and the offices attached to it are what I'm interested in the most, but having access to all three in the game would be nice. Implementing the power station in a modular fashion with visually identical models/lots for the oldest two units is an option. In any case, modelling the entire plant shouldn't be necessary given the amount of pre-existing storage and electrical buildings/lots available.

The facility has three reactors in total. Flamanville-1 and Flamanville-2 are situated in the middle and rear in the above photograph and are PWRs that began supplying energy to France's electrical grid in 1987. Flamanville-3, which is situated at the front in the aforementioned photograph, is an EPR and officially joined France's grid in 2026. The power station is owned and operated by EDF (Électricité de France).

Why this would be beneficial for the game or community:

The selection of custom nuclear fission power plants available for SC4 is relatively limited, especially regarding ones that use modern, aesthetically-pleasing architecture. The third unit of the Flamanville nuclear power plant is the most significant in this regard. Its turbine building makes use of natural light to help illuminate large regions of its relatively open floor plan during daytime, and the administration building directly adjacent to it is divided into three primary towers with walkways between them at the highest levels. The usage of slopes for the exterior walls and roofs of both the offices and turbine house feels subdued (as though the architectural firm behind their design knew better than to try and completely avoid 90° angles). The bright blue color of the chimneys also contrasts well against the bright white of the reactor exteriors.

Gardens by the Bay (Singapore)

caption.jpg.a9274e2bb6075bfa58c4bf6cb1464135.jpg

Description:

Hi, I have a request, the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. It's an urban park spanning 105 hectares ( in the Central Region of Singapore. The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden in Marina South, Bay East Garden with the Founders' Memorial in Marina East and Bay Central Garden in the Downtown Core.

Most importantly, the conservatories, the flower dome and of course the Supertrees!

(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gardens_by_the_Bay#:~:text=The Gardens by the Bay,adjacent to the Marina Reservoir.)

Why this would be beneficial for the game or community:

Because I think this park, and especially the Supertrees, are very well-known in the fields of architecture and landscape design. I believe they have a place in our games, and I think they will be very popular.

Bye
