    Thanks for the replies guys.

@Ion_Cannon - yes these roads will line up with the SC4 raods and will be partially transit enabled. In addition, the lighting used on the towers is the same lighting used in the standalone releases of the BATs and have not been altered.

@zapor1 - yes this area would in fact be the World Financial Centre, however I have no plans at present to model that complex, so in order for this BAT to fit with the existing WFC releases on the stex, the area shown south of the main road will be grass and trees. The final design for this is yet to be finalised, but I will show a new update later next week which should show what this area will look like.

@Ferrariguy1000 - its possible but tricky as the memorial model is designed to fit within the diagonal road system of the WTC and would have to be altered a lot in order for a stand alone release to be made. Unfortunately, i have no plans to do this at the moment.

Just want to say. That you need to be one of the people who bring back Maxis to full strength and give us a simcity 5. :D

I mean look at this!...LOOK at this! It's just, unbelievable what you're creating here. FOUR skyscrapers of intense detail as well as the ground roads, plazas and whatnot included in the model. I can't even fathom how much hours you've put into this, let alone how much time it takes this to render.

    Kudos. Major kudos.

Maybe you could make the bottom right corner a plaza if still possible? I mean, it would look quite awkward in the center of a cbd and theres just that green space with trees.

Little set back gys, all the sections of the complex have been exported but only around 40% have actually worked. The main problem i'm having is that the models are not displaying properly in the Lot Editor, which i belive to be a problem with the LODs in the model being very slightly too small. This should be fixed soon.

Just as a quick question, does anyone know why these dark pixelated areas are appearing on some of the exported sections?

Don't worry about the dark pixelated section, that's just your graphics card being a bit goofy. It doesn't have to do with the model itself. It'll show up in game for you, but for most people with a different graphics card it should show up without any dark spots.

I've been reading too much of the BAT FAQ :P

This looks fantastic! And just in time for the 10th Anniversary.

BTW are you planning on releasing any of the memorial/museum/memorial park lots separately?

@Liberater444 - I'm afraid that at the moment, i have no plans to release the memorial plaza and museum as separate lots, but it might be something i will look into in the future.

I still think the green space in the corner would look awkward at the center of a business district :(

Maybe to satisfy everyones different wants, you could end the lot at the complex side of the road, and have the rest of the lot be overhanging, so people who want trees, etc can place them, and those who want concrete or buildings, can place them too.

I am not sure exactly how to do that, but I am sure there are several people on this site who would love to help.

anyway, it is looking really good :thumb:

Guys, let's give the man a little respect. He's obviously worked extremely hard on this project, now let's have it be what it is for now, shall we? He's spent years, literally, working on this thing, so it'd be cool if we could all respect his hard effort by letting him finish the project his way. If he made this as one huge complex and plans to release it as such, then I will personally be behind his efforts, even if I don't use the entire complex.

    You've done a fine job, nycc06.

    Keep calm and take photographs.

Quick update - 70% of the complex has been successfully exported, however, still having some LOD issues with some of the plaza pieces. May take some time to fix, but rest assured, hopefully this will not affect the release date.
