Let's clear up some things about the previous Space-photo. None of the planets that you folks mentioned are missing, they are simply not there (out of picture), because of the time of year, or like Novabys is behind Kdorn at this moment. Corus is on its regular path,but not cannot be seen from this point of view, is it behind the picture at this time. Mahoon is out of sight, always behind Solaris from Uru's view and so is Pamelos.

Leech10,well it is not certain that when Opall hits Uru, that the Solaris system will be disturbed, all depending of the impact. If Uru will be projected into space like a Poolball, then all kinds of things may happen. This is exactly what I mentioned above, that the scientists are trying to figure out.
organicsabre, I will start talking more about the Next Generation of Nexians after the regional updates are done. That's where we will officially start the *Next Generation*, since most of you will be young teenagers by then.

Only three more updates, including this one and we will have finished the *All around Region Visits*. Tenzel Harbour is coming up next right after this update and at last, not least, the Capitol of Genesis, Gloryville.
Today we'll go to the upper north-eastern part of Genesis, with Axis Harbour and its neighbor Syris.

Axis Harbour, east of Axis City and founded by Ciroyon and designed by Mr Vegetable, has had its share of difficulties, mostly financial. There was a time when the harbour was about to rule the region and then all of sudden, the town plunged into tremendous debts,which lead to a exagerated raise of the taxes. The people left, commerces closed and the harbour was shut down,so to say and then sold in two parts. One part went to the Sirius Group that just arrived in Axis City from Uru and the other part was purchased by our Realestate investor, Mr Sven.
Meanwhile, the Tenzel Harbour was growing and bringing back some well paid wages to many folks from Axis Harbour. The Sirius Group invested a lot of money and lowered the taxes, by offering very low interests rates for the town. Axis Harbour is back on the rise.
Its eastern neighbnor Syris,only slowly started to grow lately. Syris is on the Oxalis Island, the biggest island on Genesis, just after the Nexis Islands. Most of its surrounding islands have not been founded yet and are still in a wild state. Syris has problems with criminality, which somehow are hard to control.

The highway from Axis to Axis harbour was only lately finished, now that it was worth connecting the town, while it started back growing again. And a futur connection of the Oxalis/Megantic township with its northern neighbor Syris is planned also.

First let's visit Axis Harbour, once on the edge of going deserted and now back on the map again with an ever growing population.

Companies and Landmarks: The Axis Canal,coming form the middle of Axis Downtown and ending in the harbour bay here in Axis Harbour.

Axis Harbour, although still called so, does not have a general harbour anymore, but only 2 or three private harbours of some bigger Manufacturing Companies. As we can see here on this picture below, the town has expanded quite a bit and mostly in a Residential form. Most of the citizens go to Gloryville and Tenzel Harbour to work,which are just south of the townborder.

This is the part of the former harbour that the Sirius Group bought, before it started working on it to build a separated town on these small islands.

...and this is what it looked like 6 years after. Some of the folks call it the New Pier Island.

The part that Sven bought was devided right after into many smaller lots and sold individually to whoever who was interested. Seeing that the Sirius Group has invested a lot of money into this township and promissing a better futur for the town, Sven waited until the Realestate prices went up before selling most of the partials to Industry owners, therefor making again a lot of profits. The only building left from the former harbour, is the Harbour office, the high building near the railwaybridge, which now is abandoned and standing there with broken windows as a ghostly reminder of the past. Mr Sven kept this old building and the lighhouse just beside it, for himself and no one really knows why, maybe for historical reasons, maybe for the land lot below.

When the town grew into a bigger town, it was time for Holmes Security to move in also. Before he was handling the Security from Axis City, but now a new Head Quartes for both Axis Harbour and Syris, was constructed right here in downtown, just in front of the Cathedral. Many say that Axis Harbour was reborn and now has a better futur than its MotherCity of Axis City.

As mentioned before, Axis Harbour has grown into a residential Township, because there ain't enough space for residential buldings left in Tenzel Harbour and Gloryville.  Here you see the richer folk's Domains, close to a beach, just as in Oxalis/Megantic. I heard that Alexander MacVicar has bought a lot of land land here to build higher-class Appartment blocks, but I cannot confirm this yet.

Here the residential buildings are more concentrated and almost one lives on top of the other in all sorts of Appartment buildings. It is a nice place to live though, with excellent Security and other Services. Only the fire department needs an update, since it has been outgrown by the town, and only one small and 40 year old truck is available at the moment. The town though hired the fire and Emergency services from Tenzel Outlet, which are about 20 minutes form here, but plans are made to enlarge and modernize its own department very soon.
Schooling is fair to good and not too many complaints have been filed, but there too, some adjustmenys will have to be made in the near futur, if the town will grow furthermore.

An even better place to live is near the Canal Park that leads up to Axis City. This park was built by the first Mayor of Axis City, Oriole, as a natural park and ever since it was kept in perfect shape by a group of people who don't even know their employer. Now the time had come to build around it and luxurious living can be expected here. An Appartment here is of the same cost as an Appartment near the plaisance harbour in the Capitol, very very expensive, but they are all rented.

If you feel like taking a walk, this is the place to go, walk the upper walkboard or go down to the lower walls and admire the boats, yachts and enjoy the smell of the water and trees. Now this is privatley owned land, which I just found out, by a man that was unknown up to a couple of weeks ago, the sone of Oriole, who was lately arrested for spying into the windows of Mr Slayer at his mansion in Skinner. The canal, the surrounding park and some of the bare land nearby are of private property of Mr Edo Oriole, who by the way is Half Gaburan and Half Urulian. We will get back to him much later, now that he was released and disappeared again into the wooden hills of Skinner.

Here the Central Trainstation is very busy at times, with all the folks traveling to and from Tenzel and Gloryville. Some trains even go regularly to Axis City. On this morning, when I came by, a train derailed (upper right on picture below) at a very slow speed and some said that a rail wasn't in good condition and failed to support the Engine. No harm done and no one got hurt.It was just a bummer to get it back onto the rails. Lyll Nexis, the owner of Nexis Railways, came here personally to inspect the rails and ordered the whole downtown system to be renewed.

This is the Industrial Park of Axis Harbour, just beside and under the bridges that crosses to Syris. Mostly Manufacturing, the site has become a little to small and another industrial park should be available soon, just over the bridge on the island.

At 6:30 Pm last night, an individual, which is supposed to be part of the famous scientist murders, was spotted in Axis Harbour's commercial sector and the Manhunt started. Holmes Security finally got the hands on him and arrestation was made in the late night hours. The individual is held for questioning and it looks like that some more people are involved in this. Now that they found out, why the scientists were murdered, the Federal Government and Genesis Security Department took over and no more news or information from this can be obtained. I have to find out what the heck this is all about, since it seems like it is a big thing, with all these people concerned and the Gaburan Gouvernement even starting to interfere with this. Was this a political murder? What did they find in Grand Falls? I'll find out....

Once crossed the bridge in Axis Harbour and you end up in Syris, a small town on the Oxalis Island.

This is a smaller town, but on the rise to become bigger soon. Plans by Ninten to enlarge it quite a bit have already been filed. The Center of it is the rubber Company, that just newly moved in from Uru, and hiring almost 1600 people. Rubber here is pressed under very hot temperatures and molded into different shapes and sizes for all kinds of uses. The machinery is then cooled by the water drawn fom the bottom of the bay.

Very small of a Towncenter yet, it has very dark activities and Holmes Security from Axis Harbour is having problems to clean up the streets. This town is considered as one of the highest rated crime spots on Genesis, now that Tenzel Outlet was cleaned up fully last month. I guess all the criminals moved here to Syris.

As said, the Rubber company ,owned by the Sirius Group,is hiring something like 1600 workers and are already planning to enlarge the Company and hiring another 1500 workers by next year, which makes the town grow again.

Almost right in the middle of the town, one day two big deer were causing some problems and the Wild Animal Society in Gloryville had to be called in to clear this situation. The animals were shot with a tranquilizer and then transported to the Megantic Mountain, where they continue to live in the foothills on the northern side of Oxalis. Although none of these have been seen here on the Oxalis Island yet, now the biologists are studying , how the deer got here.

Another action in the towncenter in Syris was a spectacular accident of a Taxidriver who was paid a lot to bring someone to Axis Harbour within 15 minutes. While turning onto a seconday street to take as a shortcut, the driver of the taxi just barely hit a Moving van and lost control right after only to hit another car with frontal impact.Two were hurt and brought to the hospital in Axis Harbour, one of them was arrested for having several pounds of drugs on him, the Driver of the Taxi is held for questioning and the truck driver was treated for a nervous breakdown.

Other news:
Miss Evermind who is now the Director of the Nexis Corporation Space Department,is working on two projects at the same time. First a new Space Station that will be travelling back to Verto and a mechanical probe-vessel,controlled by robots that will be send to the newly dicovered Solar System, which we only have a fade picture of, but it is of high interest to the Scientists and Astronomers.
The vessel will be ready in two years and then it will be launched to travel there which will take almost 35 years to be reached. Slayer Inc is building the robots, a contract Mr Slayer wanted so badly to have.
On the picture here, which was made by the strongest telescope (the BlackEye) ever created and which is on board of the Space Station Nexis I, which is in the outer space limits orbiting Genesis, we can see a sun and some planets, which have the same possibilities of having lifeforms of some kind as the Solaris system here. Scientists said in an interview yesterday afternoon...* This newly discovered Solar System in the Beta Sector, is of first priority to us. This solar system is very similar to ours, and it seems like they have 2 or three inhabitable planets there*...

Horatio Utora, the adopted son of the Baker Utora , was today announced as missing. Only 9 years old , his Stepfather thinks that he ran away and that he is somewhere in the Cedar Bay area, which he always liked so much. Holmes Security and other Police Stations will keep an eye on him.< If you see a young boy of 9, somewhere on Genesis, probably in Nexis City, Cedar Bay or in Crater's Notch, wearing a dirty pair of blue jeans and a darkblue shirt, contact Holmes Security's Main Office in Bolton. A reward has been offered by the step-parents>.

Now,I am sorry to announce you the death of Mr Tim Chula at the age of 64 years old. He was found this morning in his bed, dead by heartstroke. Mr Chula was the owner of the biggest Sawmill on Genesis in different townships , just as in Black Lake, where he also lived,in Moose Bone,in Grand Dam, Fallow and White Sands. He staretd his life by working for the Razor Blade Logging Industries, and in the second half of his life he went of his own and surpassed the Razor Blade Co. Now that he deceased, the Company was sold to the Sirius Group, which transformed the Company's name to *Sirius Chula Logging Company*, and the money went to the town of Black Lake, where he lived and so much enjoyed his life. Mr Chula did not have any family. His Home Mansion in Black Lake will be up for auction next month. Those who are interested, please offer your price here! The money will go to the town of Black Lake again.

Again, I am awfully sorry to announce to you, that the owner of the Movie Studios and the R.I.C.O TV Station in Gloryville ,also died,Mr Rico Az, but in a car accident on Uru, where he was filming the biggest history documentary of all times, the Story of Uru. Mr Az, formerly the Mayor of Axis South, the owner of the Az's Studios, owner of R.I.C.O. TV and Radio, both in Gloryville and Axis South, died at the age of 63 years old,while driving to a deserted City to make some filmshots and was hit by another car. Death was instant. He was a close friend of Mr Night and Vallen Nexis. Mr Rico Az will burried at the same tima as Mr Tim Chula in the Gloryville Celebrity Cemetary by the end of this week. The corps of Mr Az arrived this morning by the LBST in Gloryville . His wife will be taking care of his belongings and the documentary film will continue, since Mrs Az gave the heritage of the Filming Industries into the hands of  Mr Az's partners.

We have lost two of our celebrities in a short time, which reminds us all, that we are all mortels and that death is a part of life.

In the next update, we see Tenzel Outlet and it Mega-Industries,which are hiring more than 100,000 workers. Until then, have a nice week,hoping that you liked this update again,

              The Capitol

         finally reveiled 

Because Tenzel Outlet is too big an update, I will not be able to finish it before Saturday late or even Sunday. So meanwhile,here is a regional preview of Gloryville,the Capitol, which I finally finished. Now the hard part is to take the pictures and write the update for it.You can also see the expansion of Tenzel Outlet here. Pig's Island is not a forested island anymore.

 

 

The Tenzel Outlet Update will have some 24 pictures, and that only for one City. A lot  has changed in the last 6 years and like Nexis City, it will be kinda hard to recognize. It does not have any Hi-Risers as you can see in the above picture. Here you can also see why Tenzel has become a part of the Capitol now, and some even say that Bolton is about to join the Mega City. Gloryville has the International Airport and finally got connected to Highway 1, which wasn't easy at all. But that is the story for Gloryville.

Now today's News:
It was announced today that Dr Evel at the age of 64 years died of Cancer. He will be buried in the Gloryville Cemetary in two days. He was sick for quite sometime now and he disappeared from the public earlier last month. Dr Evel, as we all know, was one of our richest men on Genesis, owning more than 20 Starbucks and several farms, raising Llamas that he sold for high prices to the Gaburans from Mahoon. We will all miss him and Vallen Nexis most, since he was a dear friend of Dr Evel. We still ask ourselves: Dr in what?.....I guess now we will never find out. May he rest in peace and his Starbucks will continue to show his picture as the founder in every Restaurant. He did not have a family.

The picture of the Landing on Opall has not yet been reveiled and it may take some time, because burocrats have a way to do things a little slower than others, just as on the planet of Earth.

Evermind is working now more than ever on this robotic vessel that will be send to the newly found Solar system in the Beta Sector, and the Space Station Nexis III has been delayed for the while being.

Holmes Security has made 6 arrestations in all so far, concerning the murders of the two Scientists in Grand Falls. The Army will have a serious search done in that area where the two scientists went before they got lost. The Whole Ganoga Valley and Grand Falls will be under the magnifying glasses of the Army special forces. Colonel Hugh Buenilk will be leading the investigation. Meanwhile Sherlock Holmes himself and his Co-workers will question the 6 suspects, three Urulians and 3 Gaburans. Some say that this is a Conspiration of some kind. They are definitively hiding something.

Daniel Henderson, only 8 years old, won the School Nobel Price last night for his scientific discovery of the fusion of two chemical matters found in the waters of Genesis, which might even become the futur of something very important. Of course , this discovery was seized right away by the Genesian Gouvernment and Daniel will be able to continue to work on it on weekends in Atlas. What a way to start a life! Congratulations, he must be some High IQ kid!

Joao Otavio announced today that he and his team will be heading back to Uru in about a week, now that his experiments and scientific studies on Opall are finished. He also said that he is largely overdue to take a vacation in his favourite County of Round Lake Junction. On Uru the studies will continue and already now Mr Otavio told the public that Opall is only about three quarter of the mass than Uru, although its Size tells us different. This can be more disasterous than expected, when it will hit Uru, which is right in its path. 27 Years are left, before the effects of the Meteor will make the planet of Uru go wild with all kinds of temperatures and natural disasters, and *touchdown* will be 2 years after.

PhilTheMagicDragon....Darn, you're right, I didn't realize that. It must be a heck of a beautiful view from Brett's place on top of the Bolton Hill, overlooking both Axis South and Gloryville, plus Bolton and Tenzel Outlet. Sherlock Holmes has his Villa there also, just a little lower.

I uploaded this picture, which was taken a little further away from the same view. It gives us an idea where the Bolton Hill exactly is situated. Indeed a nice place to live.

 

timotheus, on Genesis , one has to be 16 years old before he/she can buy any grounds or lands, your character is about 9 only by now........sorry.

Well you know I am not a rough critic so Gloryville doesn't need to be perfect to win my appreciation. Some are specialized in building very large cities an almost perfect look. These always seem to me like a show more than a living city that has some imperfections and nasty areas.

 

On a completely off-topic matter I just wanted to shout this. I'M ON STRIKE ! starting friday noon. My faculty's student association voted today for an unlimited strike movement in presence of more than 400 students to make pressure on the government to give back the 103 million$ cuted in the financial help program.
