timotheus4, the nights in the Nexis bldg are not off, there aren't any lights. I hate to do nightlights, they kill me everytime and I have scrapped many gmax models because of trying to make some windows light up, so I gave up. Any ways, I never play my cities with the nightlights on, except to make pics for this CJ.

Besides, the two guildings will never go on the STEX, they were built for the CJ only. If any one wants them, pm me. But remember these have no lights and they are on a parklot.

Ma8thew, you better be around, because Wren Trey is about to separate from Henry Zeddicton and Troy Nexis  and start his own Imagefon Company soon. ( and that at the age of 62)...

Now, the Colleges, both the modern and the old are NOT Nexis BATs, but downloaded from somewhere. The modern College comes from a Japanese site, if I remember right and the old college, I can't remember where I got it from...maybe from Simzone.de. Hard to remember so with more than 6k lots and Bats in your plugin folder (not counting the props).

I included two region pics here without any writing on it, so you can see the entire region clearly. On the second picture you can see that almost half of the Genesis region is yet to discover. Even the south-east (bottom right) needs some visiting soon.
The Ganoga Valley is on the upper left part of the region. This is a region almost by itself, cut off from the rest by a big mountain chain. Only Grand Falls is open to the public and most of that land belongs to Jim.

 

 

When we come back, one of our kids is about to discover all that part of Genesis, just as Vallen Nexis did in his younger years. Besides he will be hired by Vallen to do this.

Some News from Genesis:

Yesterday the Grand Ruler Gyrp Meff died of old age in his sleep at the age of 93 years. Vallen Nexis was elected right away after to be the new Grand Ruler, since he was a Ruler for more than 20 years now. Mr Nexis is 82 years old at the time.

Thousands of Demonstrators in Gloryville have won to have the airport moved to another township. This one will be bulldozed down and the space will be used for residential developpment. No specific place has been mentioned yet, but Atlas and Skinner were recommended. A fellow, that I don't have the name yet, is already working on the plans. He is only 18 years old and alreday has planning abilities that are hardly compared to anyone else. The new Airport will be the property of the Sirius Group and the fellow Planer which is right now still studying at the Nexis University.We will hopefully find out who that is in the Next Generation update.

Bolton today received the permission to expand its boundaries beyond the hill. Now they are able to continue the enlargement of the City to the south.

Sven announced publically that he will have several Appartment blocks build in the Black Lake area. There will be living room for almost 2000 families.

Kevin Slayer, the CEO of the Famous Slayer Inc in Gloryville will be having another BIG Party at his mansion in Skinner, to celebrate his 65th birthday and his partial retirement. The Slayer Inc Company will now be led by his son Steven, who went to the Bolton University for many years. The official Take-over though will be on January 1st.

Wren Trey , the inventor of the imagefon and partner of Henry Zeddicton and Troy Nexis, announced today his demission with the Nexis Electronics Company, only to concentrate more on his own Company, today called *Imagefon Trey LTD*. All this at the age of 64 years. Very courageous!

The Next Generation

 

Well, this is it, we are gathered here today....heck no....wait...(oups,I think that was another story......*checking through his papers again*....)

Ok, this is the beginning of the second chapter of the Nexis Story, the next Generation. Many of the demands have not been confirmed, meaning they are out, unless I hear from them very soon. Otherwise, I open the possibilities for others to join. So, if you want to be a serious participant, we have room for you. Apply for imigration to Genesis by pm'ing me. I will take 4 more.

First let me introduce one by one the soon to become celebrities on Genesis.

-Noori Lecuyer,a teenage girl right now going to school at the Three Towers Highschool and living in Fallow Canyon with a family not of her own, You see,she immigrated not so long ago from Uru as an orphelin and was adopted by a Nexian family who are both working for the First Contact Museum in Fallow Canyon. She is the youngest of the new generation, 13 years old.

-Poke Pika, not very much older, this young lad was born 14 years ago in Grand Dam and now his parents just moved to the newly founded Nintendon because of the work that his father will do in Atlas, not far from there. He also goes to the High school in Three Towers.

-Lane Wallace, living in New Sholes with his parents and aged 17 years old, is going to the Bolton College and studying business, Commercialization and Marketing. He loves collecting all kinds of ....hm...rocks and stones, one might say.

-Clay Wallace, not at all related to Lane Wallace above, now 16 years old and going to the Grand Dam's High School .He is the son of the world champion skier Bob Wallace, who won many goldmedals on Uru.
 Not sure what he will be up to, he decided to *take a walk* into the the undiscovered land of the Ganoga Valley, once he finished his last year in the School. He has been reading the book **The Adventures and successes of Vallen Nexis** and was inspired by his one year journey to have discovered the Nexis Lake and Islands many years ago and now he wnatys to make his name discovering new lands.

-Daniel Henderson,only 16 also , but already thinking big and working part time for Jim's Construction Company to pay his education in the Bolton College next year. Jim hired him because of his ability to design and he decided to make him a Project Manager for smalltime constructions, such as Cottages etc. Daniel was born in Saphir on Uru and he immigrated to Genesis with his family two years ago.

-Chad Benson,17 years old and starting his first year in the Gloryville College, studying business, marketing and manufacturing. He lives with his parents in the Capitol, near the General Hospital on the bottom of the hill. He used to be quite a trouble maker when he was young, cleaning out all the cupboards at the age of 4.His father is the owner of the Benson Aircraft Corporation in Gloryville.

-Allan Sapporo, also one of the younger fellows, only 14 years old, lives in Black Lake with his parents, where his father works for the Feery and his mother as a nurse for the local Doctor, since there are no hospitals nearby. He loves music and works for the White's Historical Park in Black Lake as the tourist guide , to earn the money that he will need to study music in the Gloryville's art College later. A dream that he wants to realize.

-Shane Boxx, the 17 year old son of a former big Cardealer on Uru,now living in Grand Dam and working for the Dam administration office as a messanger. Shane is an airplane fanatic and must have the biggest collection of airplane models around , that he has been modeling together since the age of 7. His dream is to fly one day, no matter what.

-Thom Yorke,15 years old and living in Gloryville with his parents, is still going to the east city highschool. On weekends and on vacations he works here and there with a small residential renovation Company, helping to clean up after the construction workers left. Dreaming to become one day just like his idol Mr Brett, the biggest Commercial Hi-Rise Contractor on Genesis.

-Jason McLary, 16 years old and going to the Tenzel Highschool. He was arrested a few weeks ago for having driven a car on a public road without any permits. No charges though....lucky him!
Every weekend you can find him in Round Lake Junction at the Otavio's car races, something that he loves to watch. He works at a local restaurant as a dishwasher to earn the money that he needs to get to Round Lake every weekend.

-Timotheus, our final participant and also the oldest, 18 years old and already on his own, living in a Tenzel Outlet's basement appartment by himself and working here and there to pay his life. Hardly ever seen in the public, except on Sunday mornings in the Gloryville's first church. He lives a quiet life so far.

Then there are some *offsprings* of the first Generation, that I might mention here and there and from time to time:

-Tom Zeddicton and his sister Julie,both children of Henry Zeddicton , and both working for their father's Company, the ZeCoSo Inc. Both live nearby their father in Three Towers north, where the ZeCoSo headquarter is. Tom is now 26 and Julie 24 years old.

-Caldwell and Lisa Hawklyn, son and daughter of Adley Hawklyn, which also both work for their father on the Hawklyn Valley farms. Caldwell is now 23 and Lisa is just turned twenty and is still going to the Bolton university and studying general agriculture.

-Kegan,Jim's oldest son, which works for his fathers big Construction Company, is now 27 and he is the one that hired Daniel Henderson as a smalltime project manager after he saw his application form.

-Steven Slayer, the son of Kevin Slayer of the famous Slayer Corporation in the Capitol City, now is 26 years old and General Manager of his father's Company. He finished Bolton University only awhile ago and is now ready to take over and run Slayer Corp by himself....that's what he hopes for at least.

- and finally Vladimir and Sarah MacVicar, Alexander MacVicar's offsprings. Vladimir already is up to his head in his father's company and daughter Sarah , as we all remember is now married to Jadis Nexis, son of Troy, and they have a daughter with the name of Detta-Lee Nexis/MacVicar.

I still didn't find out who was working on the new airport project, but I know this: The Ghost island of White Sands is to be transformed into a Major International Airport,financed entirely by the Sirius group. It was offered by the Regional Administration office. This will be, after Axis City and the Dam in Grand Dam , the third biggest ever construction on Genesis. I enclosed an aerial picture of this part of the region , so you can imagine the size and also the location of the immense airport. Construction already started and Ms Lyll Nexis sister of Troy) had two bridges already built to access the island. There will be subways, trains, Elrails and Highways going to and coming from the island to make the access as easy as possible. Some even say that they will build a support island between Gloryville and the Ghost island, only to support the almost two mile long bridge that is supposed to be built from downtown Capitol to the airport. The new island will be attached to the Welcome island in the Gloryville harbour. And some even say a tunnel for trains will be dug under the sea, which is not too deep at these places. Red line indicates the emplacement of the bridge and the underwatertunnel project...Talking about a big project! I can't wait to see this up close. I suppose we will follow these constructions and developments very closely. Sirius is serious about this!

Back with the first update in the new chapter.
A few new townships have been developped and we will have a look at them.
First, north of Black Lake is Black Lake North of course. The lake itself touches 6 townships. Two of them have big parts of the lake,both Black Lake and Black Lake North.
This is Black Lake north, situated at the narrowest part of the lake, but also the deepest. Just founded a short time ago by someone who opened a recycling plant, and already more than 30 people live here.

 

Something that was discovered and also is now researched, is that somefishermen found what we think is the breeding grounds for the freshwater whales, meaning that these mammals, which they are indeed, have to travel fom the Nexis Lake system through either the Tenzel River or the Nexis river down to the sea and enter the Black river so they can reach these gounds in the Black Lake. Maybe because the lake is somewhat acid, they have chosen it for the breeding grounds. The PH of the water is around 6.3.

Here is a look at the recycling center that started the new village.

Then out southwest of Genesis and just south of Cedar Bay lies another new county, called Cornfield. Farmers have invaded this area, because of the very fertile land of the Snaky River and the two warm lakes that bring a lot of humidity to these lands.

Tim Chula's, may he rest in peace, Company now has a new outpost here, which will serve the surrounding townships that are soon to be opened to the public and available for the settling of the new immigrants from Uru.

Already a big Grain Elevator was built to make sure that the farm products reach the civilized part of Genesis, where food is much needed now. Farmers will get land for free, as long as they garantee to farm the land for at least the next ten years. This offer was fulfilled within a short time, since farming  brings food to the population which is ever growing so much these days and at the moment farming is profitable.

Over the Middle Mountain Chain that separates the east from the west , so to say, is now inhabited also with its first village, Grounghog Springs. An ancient volcano feeds a river that flows into the Tenzel River system and a village was founded just at its sources. Highway 2 that connects Genesis to the west is not far from the new settlement.

Very little service is available here, but it was a paradeday when two used firetrucks were offered by the Mayor of New Sholes. Groundhog Springs has 150 Habitants and only 23 jobs.

Back to the east, I have some pictures again of the third biggest construction site on Genesis. It is the new airport site on the Ghost Island in White Sands. Right now there are more than 1500 workers on the site and some folks say that this will be the 5th wonder on Genesis.

Rilian Waterworks continues to exit, even when his founder Rilian died a couple of years ago. It is now an idependant Company owned by all the stockholders. The water system has to be big and the pipes are assembled over ground, and then put underground after. Preparation of the digging has already started. Once the pipes are all installed and burried, the construction above ground will start.
I found out that the young fellow timotheus has been helping out with the plans of the airport and the Sirius group is quite satisfied with his job, offering him the scholarship for the famous Nexis University.

Here is the plan that the Wallace Kid, Clay made for his journey through the unknown valley of Ganoga, once he finished Highschool.
He will be traveling through the whole valley with one of his friends for more than 9 months and make a detailed plan of this mysterious valley, which has been photographed many times by the Space Laboratory.
I wonder what he will discover.
He said in his school that he was somehow very much encouraged and inspired from the book of Vallen Nexis, describing his adventures and discoveries of the Nexis Lakes in his younger days.

 

Other News:
A new fellow that we also keep an eye on is  Nick Ranly, a fanatic of Science fiction and Outer Space Stories. He lives with his parents in Lichen, the small village neighboring Grand Dam and goes to Highschool in Grand Dam. He is 15 years old and dreams of visiting Space one day.
In Coarseville today, the Mayor announced that the MacVicar Mines will officially close their mines there, for safety reasons. The Genesis Standard Mines hire more than 2000 workers in Coarseville. Will this be the end of a great town?
Uru is abandoning, the LBST immigration increased by 20% in the last month and is now working at 97% of its capacity.
It was officially announced today by Evermind and the Nexis Space Corporation that the new Space Station Nexis III will be ready to be assembled in space in the next two months and another 6 months for testing, before it will be on the way to Verto once again.
Also the Space probe *Forscher I* will be off to the newly discovered Solar System next month. We will of course be there on the lift off day.
Genesis reached 1 Million Population, was the first news this morning on radio, newspapers and Tv. The new First Ruler Vallen Nexis will have a speech tonight on the  Regional Meeting Park in Gloryville.

That's enough for now.....

Ok, the next time we will go back to Grand Dam, they have a serious problem there and take a look at Axis City, that is almost growing out of its boundaries.
