OK. First, thank you so much all for the comments. It was quite odd to read them all. When you read "nice city", you just feel good; but when you read "OH MY GOD", it's a completely different thing.

 

But i forgot to explain in the first post that they're all old cities (3 -4 years). The pics were in my hard disk for a long time (i'll edit my first post) and i'm just posting them now here.

Now, to clear some of the doubts: i really don't remember how much time i spend with New York, but i remember it was my first city and it was a complete success. As the 90% of the people who play Simcity, i was a complete addict to the game in the first few months. 

Let's move on a bit and go to the other one:

Was there a goal for realism in these cities? I mean, did you check Google Earth to try to get street placement correct, or do you just kinda go by feel? Whatever way you play, it sure looks good!

The scale of these cities are only comparable to a select few. Seeing this work come from a newer member is just amazing!

Whoa, stunning region views there. These really look like you would look at a satellite image. It would be great if we could see more detail shots of your regions, if that's possible anyway... you said you had these pictures on your hard-drive. But still, 3-4 years ago... I'm not sure if I could have done something like this back then. Heck, I don't think I could now!

It totally looks like a satellite image from a plane.PLEASE keep me posted about Las Vegas and Los Angeles.I used to live in Los Angeles.
