Dubai , the fastest growing city in the world For a city used to pursuing world records, perhaps is should not be so surprising that Dubai is now the fastest growing city in the world. Yet many commentators are starting to ask how long such a neck breaking speed can be maintained.

Man, your region looks very close to satellite imagery (with the exception of the island area north Old Dubai). Great detail, looking forward to seeing more.

Actually I'm missing DXB (Dubai Airport), which is located nearly next to Dubai Creek, but anyway, it's quite a good recreation! I like it!

Holy mackerel, that is one HUGE city! Definetally beautiful terrain, what a nice little river/lagoon/bay/idk that splits through it.

hm mm.... i dunno i mean some if it is cool, the world island don't even look anything like the world but still,

the big palm needs all the middle things to be connected and all those other sand island around it aren't even meant to be there,

and your overview doesn't exactly look great and your suburbs don't look that great, its meant to be "a tropical oasis"

at the moment its looking like a desert city with buildings.

dude, have you not seen dubai and what it going to become its more than possible dubai could become the new world capital,

with the worlds tallest buildings, over 16 million tourists a year, just with everything they're getting and if it continues, theres no doubt.

I love the map, but from your region view, I see you are using a lot of Maxis RCI, which can

be unrealistic for a desert city. Download BATs by Frogface from the STEX, you will get more

middle-east themed. Plus, take a look at Suplado's CJ 'Jargeah', or Frogface's CJ 'Khaled',

you will see the way it is made. Also, when you take a shot, could please close the menu? It

can be closed by clicking the box in the bottom left corner of SC4, and use Ctrl+Shift+S to

    take a snapshot.

I hope to see more from your desert metropolis, my friend!

Great pics. I like your curvy avenues very much and the buildings are great too. But you should turn off the grid and maybe close the menu, then your pics will look more realistic. Nevertheless amazing work and I can't wait to see more.

the streets on the palm islands are realistic but concerning the buildings on it it is not!!!
