Nice use of curved avenues, but you need to get some more custom content to avoid the building repetition. And as you said, plant some more trees and put in some flora too. 2.gif

its look alright, you have good planning and stuff but, I'm pretty sure that all or most of the palms in Dubai are houses except for the strip that connects to the main land.

and your islands are way over size because there only meant to have 1 house on either size of the road.

the only reason I'm being so criticizing is because I'm really passionate about Dubai.

Hate to burst your bubble fabsies but on the Palm Deira, the only one he showed, the fronds of the palm are much thicker than on the small palms and have more than just one house on either side of the road. Visit here www.pd.ae

Nice start, but I think too that these buildings are not realistic, you should download some "Dubai" buildings to make your city more real.

From what I have heard, Dubai is going bankrupt. Appanently, all the money they are using is borrowed. You are probably asking, why are they using borrowed money when they have tones of money from oil? Well they have used the money from oil and they aren't making much now since the price is so low. So they have borrowed money and now they have nearly spent it all. So lets hope Dubia will get back on track.

It's not the world capital. It will never be the world capital. It's just a big piece of dessert with hundreds of ghost skyscrapers where the richest people in the world wash money.

But we want more updates... =)

Mmmm... big piece of dessert... oh no, it's desert. Eww... sandy.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

Wow very nice so far.

Just as a suggestion could you turn off the menus when showing your CJ? The Pause line thingy can also be removed with this mini-mod.
