bokrif: Thank you verry much! I put a lot of effort into the banners this time around, I'm glad some one appreciates them 9.gif. The satelite area you see is Kalimgrad's main mine, refinery, processing center, and mill for the production of steel and other metals (so yes, you are right! I was hopeing it would look that way from the region view).

Almighty Nienaber: Thanks, Ibelieve I answered your question in chat, but I'll restate that my region is actually a part of Alaska. My advice is to find a map that is similarly mountanous with some flat, open areas around rivers.

TV-VCR: Then I have accomplished my mission! Thanks!

Patricius Maximus: I'll be waiting... lol, thanks for stopping by!

    un1: Thank you!

    underwearman2007: Spasibo comrade!

Schulmanator: Thank you, thank you, thank you! The SBU appreciates your endorsement and praise!

superchad: Nice long winded comment! Thank you!

panthersimcity4: MUAHAHAHA! I aim to please!

oceanmariner: Wow, I appreciate that, thank you. I am putting more energy into the pictures then I think I ever have. I hope my updated don't fail to please. And don't worry, this isn't going anywhere, I have big plans for this CJ!

Ntq$310: You like the history (really?!?), I was worried about that part, thank you!

jacqulina: Thank you verry much my friend!

Kabuto23: I'm glad you picked up on my little adjustments! I tried to make the bridges look as much as part of the city as I could, with the same wear and gloomy appearance. I think that last one is one of my favorite pictures of the bunch. Happy to have another person watching this!

fabsies55: I try to make it look as great as I can, Thank you and glad you enjoyd it!

    suplado: Thank you very much!

Benedict: The fact that you commented on both is an exceptional complement. Very kind indeed, Thanks a million sir.

CarmineHilton: Gorgeous eh? You and I have similar tastes in gloom and opresson! I like that...Thank you!

Glenni: You think so? As a perfectionist, I never see my work as perfect, but the if you see it that way then my work is done. Many thanks. I have started LOTing some of those props and all I can say is... OMG I LOVE THEM!!!!1!!one!!1!!

knarfmo: Excellent, my efforts have payed off! That is exactly what I am aiming for! Thanks.

    mr.skyscrape: Why thank you!

roboo1: That is the idea, I'm trying to set this up for a long distance trip 3.gif. Thank you very much!

marco1771: Your grammer kinda faultered there, no punctuation is an excelent complement and illistration of your mind altering facinaton! (I'm exagerateing a bit, but that just means thank you!!!)

metasmurf: Thank you for stopping by!

    haljacky: Thank for stopping by!

Theirishnintendonerd: Its great isn't it? I have really enjoyed letting my dark side spill out into this city 9.gif. Thanks!

    Kalimgrad- Sans Angor

A few small and rugged ships hugged the undeveloped coast of the city that once had been. Loaded by hand were the holds, filled with the few precious goods minted by the skill and knowlege of a generation of craftsmen. Long passed is the age of these things, given way to towering steel hulls, cranes to conquer any weight, and the steam and fire of factories. The old way paved in the name of the strong. Traditions melted to forge the new. A product of the SBU under the flag of progress, The Port.

The life giving entity stained black by the success of humanity. Kalimgrad's greatest ally is also a nemisis willing to strike back at those daring enough to challange it. Foolish is the man who forgets his place, and frears not The Sea.

Love the shipwrecks 3.gif Looks like either the currents naturally wreck ships there, or someone unloaded some excess ammo on them 3.gif

    WOW.

That is probably one of the most amazing looking ports I have seen in a while, really a good job. Not only its shear size, but the layout itself is quite an interesting endeavor, as is the tint you put on your pictures. Really a big fan of that mosaic btw, one of the best I have ever seen. 9.gif

    1.

    Unbreakable union of freeborn republics

Great Russia has welded forever to stand!

Created in struggle by will of the people

United and mighty, our Soviet land!

    CHORUS:

Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,

Bulwark of people, in brotherhood strong!

Oh! Party of Lenin! The strength of the people.

To Communism's triumph lead us on!

    2.

Through tempests the sunrays of freedom have cheered us

Along the new path where great Lenin did lead!

To a righteous cause he raised up the people

Inspired them to labor and valorous deed!

    CHORUS

    3.

In the victory of Communism's deathless ideal,

We see the future of our dear land

And to her fluttering scarlet banner,

selflessly true, we always shall stand!

    CHORUS

A great start! A really liked your port, especially the picture before the mosaic with the wrecked ships, which is awesome. The wrecked ships remind of something out of a video game. Looking forward to the next update...
