I wonder why this year Dirk didn't put up the "Current Nominations Count" on the banner like last year.

(I used a web archive to see what Dirk did for the past few Trixies)

I think that may have been just a text blurb that was periodically updated by the admins, rather than a live counter. But I really don't know. dirk could have just run out of time and is planning on putting it in once he has time.

If you go to the nomination screen, it has the date and time nominations close.

Underneath that are the current date and time, simtropolis time.

so the time zone thing doesn't confuse people.

Okay, so no one has actually submitted that one.    We are getting lots of nominations but not that many of the fun, ad-hoc nominations.     When we suggested info you could include, we didn't mean to turn off the creative flow. 

I haven't done an actual count but it appears as if the ad-hoc nominations are less than 3% of the total received so far, which is much less than previous years.
