A new small city of mine. This is Castrum Iramaris, located at the homonymous castle at the south (there is a narrow sea straight, leading into a bay). It's one of two castles that worked in medieval times as an early warning system, to warn of foes' ships trying to enter the bay. Nowadays, it does obviously not serve this purpose anymore. The village is small, but it has everything it needs (a few shops, a restaurant, a school, a doctor and even a small church).

In my mind, these things have been intricately mingled ever since my model railroad years when I was a child. Did anyone here ever have the plastic model of the old Martinstor (Martin's Gate) from Freiburg with the McDonalds inside? I did.

This is my attempt... I'm working on an entire region (Providence Region) with patience. I mixed old and new BATS. Because of my job, I have not so much time to play around. So, I wait for your critic...

The latter, sort off. All proper automata are turned off and I placed the carriages as props on the streets via so-called T21s. So the streets are fully operational, as is everything else. Even the diagonals are grown residentials as well.

Sorry no link, I did all the lotting myself. Moreover the majority of BATs are from which unfortunately is no longer available it seems. However, you may want to check out Wallibuk´s works if small town charm has your interest.

Here's a little Town I built after my most important city and mods were deleted.

The town is called Coastbourg with 1,700 inhabitants.This picture is a little old but not much has changed anyway.

Another attempt of mine. A small rural village along one main road. Hope you like it. Fortunately, the game was so nice to grow me a lot of SimGoober's cottages; unfortunately, its creativity vanished while growing 1x1 houses.

Nicely done 11241036!  Looks very laid-back, with a good variety of farms with a small town to complement it. 

I made a small hamlet that sits between two intersecting roads that fuse into one. What good is a small town without some farmland to add to the realism of things?

Here's a picture of one of Manitou's (now renamed Manilow since I noticed, rather embarassingly, 9gruntsand1hammer's town beared the same name) neighboring towns. Settlers didn't have seem to have much fantasy left when naming it.
