Typical Village in the northern lands of my jet unnamed country.

I like it. Seems nice and peaceful and the farm field to the north shows they are still true to their farming roots.

I love it! Church park thing you have there looks beautiful, only nitpick is really the fault of the game and that is the zoning AI with some of the growables, but what are you gonna do?

Agreed. I totally see "Ye olde SimCity" in Gothic type pop up as the splash screen when Vortext loads the game. :P

As a matter of fact, I was thinking of the Anno franchise as well when I saw vortext's picture. :)

@Jeffrey500 I definitely like the tree rows between the fields. That's how they are IRL where I live. :)

In Holland we call it a coulisse landscape, it's just some natural bordering between the fields. I'm just a SimFarming geek, and i took some inspiration from the dutch village of Schermerhorn which is bulid in a same way. Between the main road and water. Altough it is here the Sea surrounding my northern state and not a typical pond.

I think it shows a peacefull old village here. Just bulid around the church, without breaking the grid it sill looks realistic to me.

The village of Nieuwvliet (836 inhabitants) in the far north of Jytland. It is the northernmost town of the Ritland district some 10 miles north of the district capital Wilbertshaven. The small village centre has some old buildings dating back to the middleage. The town has the most basic needs such as a medical clinic, a primary school and a supermarket and acts as main spot for the outlying hamlets.

@Ceafus 88 I really like the use of RD-4 there, a little more building variety would spice it up.

"We live in a era where our cities are armed with steel and concrete. Computers and electronics barricade our minds. It doesn’t change the fact that there exists a lot of strange phenomena, bizzare beyond reason or logic. Most folks just don’t see them, that’s because we cling to order to any tiny happiness that comes our way and we bust our humps to blind ourselves with our desires and our pleasures. There’s a world of darkness out there. Beyond time or space. A world filled with evil that is undeniably real and in that world there are things that run wild!”

The small town of Neugelum (830 inhabitants) on the Wervik peninsula in my northernmost peninsula Kimbrië. The town is some 5 kilometres northnortheast of the county town Pattersgaarde which is named after the Pattersgaarde family who controlled the area from a 70 metres high hill above that town.

@DavidDHetzel    Do you mean the the dirt/grass with the fence? or the wide sidewalk with the thin grass border and matching parking?

The dirt/grass fence diagonal and straight grass fence are in this set of filler from SFBT

https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1197

The sidewalk grass and parking are from Paeng, sorry had trouble quickly finding the link but if you go through the Paeng Parks 205 varied packs you should come across them.   Here are the parking as reuploaded, had downloaded the original from SimPeg, note download link picture shows custom sidewalk.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.
