I found a problem, and the sollution to the problem 9.gif

I'm using pjots diagonal mod, and when i digged a 15meter hole with the sunken digger it ended up with a graphical glitch on the highway onramp piece (the onramp glitching with the wall showing trough). To solve this i tried to dig a 14m hole instead with the avenue digger, and the glitch was gone. This might be good information for people who have the diagonal mod installed!

darkjedi06... they should be out soon...i didnt want to host an incomplete set on site...a couple more pieces to go...the site savefile goes up and down but its free. if you know of an alternative i can change it

buddybud: I like them. Great work.

mightygoose: The roundabout is the one-way roundabout that comes with NAM. Have a look at this picture how to use it.

As a big thanks to buddybud, I think an in-game screenshot is essential:

Wow... that's some creative ideas you are bringing to the forefront ... I really look forward to using these once you have perfected them. I already use the other stuff you created and the beta stuff I started using in game the last time I played too... pretty awesome work my friend.

If you need any help in beta testing these I'd gladly offer my services.

i worked on these over night....theyre finished but ill have to get permission to release them...

its four lots that will allow you to run a peg stream through your sunken highway.

    00002pegtaboo7uv.jpg

it took along time to figure out just how peg made the stream props and then i had to reverse engineer them so to speak....well have to see on these...

the initial package should be ready in the next couple days...im playing with diagnals now.

yesyesyes this looks fantastic i cannot wait for this release, i assume that all our pieces are reversable and can be used to make an higway on an embankment, apart from the bridge and tunnel lots obv.

Holy jumpin' mother of god in a sidecar! 6.gif This is AWESOME stuff!

Are you using prop families for the trees? I'm not sure, but the trees looked a bit repetitive on some of the lots... if those trees are no prop familes, try using the families 50 or 51 or the ones around 77, 78 (IIRC) - they should help to get a more randomized look.

Boy, why haven't I popped in here more often? You even told me that you were working on something new, but I hadn't reckoned it would be something so absoluteky freaking great.

    thanks as always guys...

t wrecks...thanks....you're absolutely right, at the moment the trees are random but only for three different types....ill try using the prop families as suggested. more variety is good.. glad you like it so far

finished the diagnals pretty much...just some tweaking. ill try to post a beta tonight or tomorrow for the diagnals and the other bits not in the first one.

mightygoose said " i assume that all our pieces are reversable and can be used to make an higway on an embankment "

    - sadly no....these lots are designed with overhanging props meaning that they would simply sink into the ground if placed next to a raised highway....they are what they are "sunken highway walls"....the one thing i will do is seperate the props that go next to the highway into a seperate dat...so that if you want to use them for another purpose.......beside a sunken road or avenue or maybe just along a general embankement, you could simply remove the prop dat so they dont appear...sorry.

its ok dont woor y bout it, one more query for the bridge lots are they done as two ends then a middle or are they done a two halves

the bridges are two lots.....one side has the base and the bridge and the second just has the base.

they will only span a highway as is but can be place next to each other to accomodate either a road or avenue or a rail or dual rail....but again they only span two squares for the highway...however i could easily make additional props in the future for longer spans and such....well see and im always open to suggestion....though at the moment im sticking with this configuration just so i can get the d@#n things released...arghhh..14.gif

also note these arent really bridges they are just skins for the bridge using overhanging props and lods placed to cover parts of the bridges.

I  love this stuff, it looks awesome and I can't wait for it to be released to the STEX.

And topcliff.......I wouldn't compare buddybud with anyone else, this stuff is original putting him in an awesome category of his own.

Great work,  I can't wait to see what you do next.

wow excellent! how about a simgoober canal piece? I ve had an idea about how a UK version would work, all it would involve is some retexturing. To me these pieces look like those seen in London, where the subway system goes over ground, its effectively sunken (like the highways you've depicted), the walls are basically the same, arched and what not. However  the one thing you could change (If you're willing to do a UK version, it would be much appreciated) is the wall texture, it would be a red brick texture, preferably worn The 'pavement' bit at the bottom on the ground would remain the same colour. That would be the only thing you would need to change, as it would basically match what we have in parts of London today. I dont know if you're up for that, it's just a suggestion. Not a very good pic, but there are sections like what I explainedm this might help a little. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Why_London_Underground_is_nicknamed_The_Tube.jpg
