Schulmania needs some help from someone (hopefully you) more skilled in Photoshop (or similar) than me. I have some pics from AOE I am trying to "seamlessly" integrate into a SC4 pic or two for an upcoming important update. But, my work to get the pics to blend in well to the SC4 pic has been, shall we say, underwhelming. Anyone out there interested in flexing their photo editing skills? As a reward, the successful person will get a speaking role in the schulmania update in question.

Specifically, here's what I have tried to do:

I have these 2 SC4 pix...

What I have tried in vain to do is to shrink down the ships from AOE3 shown below and make about 20 or so ships to scale with the pic to resemble a fleet.

The problem I have run across is that I do not know how to remove the background around the ships well enough to make the ships look like they belong in the SC4 pic.  Can anyone help me out? A speaking role is awaiting your reply!

Solution: Ask a batter to make wooden ships resembling those, and let him make them Mayor mode plopables (some of those can be placed on top of water), and then you place them, no photo shopping required.

Hester, I'm pretty sure it is. Remember that exploration mission? Well, this is the port we're going to start the mission, and thus, a large fleet is needed, as sailors have a big appetite.

A Schulmania Reader Feedback Opportunity

As Schulmania transitions into Volume 3 (which seems to be stable at the moment), I have noticed that there are people who come to Volume 2 in the old CJ section and people who come to Volume 3 in the new CJ section and that there is only a moderate amount of overlap between the two. So that I can get a better feel for where you prefer to read Schulmania, please reply to the question below with your choice and some detail to explain your choice.

Please do consider my reader feedback question above, if you have not already answered it. For extra credit, tell me your thoughts (pro or con) about me closing Volume 2 here in the old section and exclusively update in Volume 3 in the new section. Love it? Hate it? Would rather see Volume 3 as a mirror to Volume 2? Don't know? Don't care? I am looking to get more feedback before I make a final decision on this matter.
