Leech10 Definitely remember that cats are highly reactive when exposed to water. I remember my brother and I having the audacity to try and give TSW a flea bath once. One five pound cat has the strength of ten Klingon warriors when wet. One soggy bathroom and two bleeding kids later, a triumphantly wet and angry SW departed to dry off in the sun. I think we needed blood infusions.

2009 Schulmauckland State Visit Final Preparations

It is the eve of the Schulmauckland State Visit and preparations are occurring at rapid pace on both ends. Delegation leaders Archduke Bower of Schulmanicus and Grand Duke Splunt of East Atkinos have prepared their teams and are nearly ready for a voyage of epic proportions. The Supreme Wirdle has directed the Office of Anachronistic Technology, which runs the Schulmania website, to develop a directory dedicated to the state visit. The directory is under development and will debut after the return of the high level delegation.

Constituencies at home have been placated, despite the fact that the state visit will result in a lull in new SC4 content postings for Schulmania; the first such lull in Schulmania's history. It is anticipated, though, that use of a USB flash drive will allow the possibility of updating live from Schulmauckland, but it is certainly not a guarantee. Let's view preparations on both ends as the departure time draws nigh.

Agriculture Commissioner Zelgadis Junior and his trusty sidekick have been granted sweeping new lawn maintenance powers. For the duration of the state visit, they will assume the title of "Vegetation Management Technicians" and will help prevent overgrowth in the lawn areas.

Orange carpets are being hurried in on the Schulmauckland Express

The reception hall has been prepared for the arrivals

And the site for the International Simtropolis Gossip Roundup & Coffee Klatsch has been chosen

amazing what both households have done to prepare for this State visit. I am truly impressed as it was all done in so short a time. Good luck, enjoy yourselves and wish I was there. (although the trip itself would about kill me :-)
