Region Map 018: Schulmania Atlas

This map shows the locations of all cities in Schulmania. Cities are noted with dots. A coronet shows where regional capitals are and the national capital is shown with a crown. (Wirt is also the capital of Schulmanicus, but it does not get a coronet.) You may notice a few cities on the map which have not been shown in updates. These would be in East Devonshire and East Atkinos. You will hear more about those cities later.

I waited until after the SchulmaniQuest so that the last tile, with the Wirdleonia River (at lower left), could also be included. The map was actually made in February, but I did not want to spoil the outcome of the SchulmaniQuest. Hopefully, you will find it worth waiting for. And, in addition, the quality should be better. I finally got the Region Census so I could have the whole region in one picture at actual size.

The map is very large - the largest Schulmania map ever - so click on the thumbnail to see it in full size.

BTW, the Maps page on the Schulmania website has not been updated with these yet, so this is the only place you will see them!

Wow, another great map. Some day I'd love to see a transporation map as I presume there's some sort of transportation between cities.

@ Dan Actually, with the exception of the ring road around Lake George, no towns are actually connected to one another in any meaningful way. Although I am considering some streets to connect cities in the future. For now, I rely on cleverly disguised subways to allow for transit as well as an extensive network of ferries.

See what you think of this one. This is Map 017 but done in a way which allows zooming and panning. If you like it, I will do the city map in the same way. It's a nifty little thing I learned about from one of our fellow ST members.

I like the zoomable map... can you put a different image in for each zoom level? It's something I may try the next time I do a region map.

Dfnva                True. There is a definite growth pattern which can be seen by viewing the maps in a sequence. I ought to create some sort of compendium for them to illustrate that.
