Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... he sees a beautiful game while the rest of us might see pig faces.  There's nothing wrong with that.

I know I would probably get blasted by every ST's Dr VU anti Society Cannon. But I cant wait to see what they got to offer, hopefully maybe a fun future city set so you can build a little cyber city that isnt so depressing. But I wouldnt put too much hope in transport, mostly it is going to be just static buildings for an airport (wonder who will get the rights to the air force military base, Authority or Knowledge?)

Probably both, most of the high-tech defense stuff required a little of each :-)

Well, at least we will see variety in seaports (No more seaport = polluting harbor).

SimRabbit:

1) Sim Maire clearly called them beautiful after seeing the screenshots. Reread the post.

2) Yes, we all know you hate SCS. I've had to read your anti-SCS rhetoric all over this board, which is already enough to put me off on posting here regularly. You can give it a rest. If someone has interest in a game leave them alone, I don't see the need to get offensive about it.

Yeah, i'm waiting on extra transport options... there'd be some potential to make the game more realistic with them. Personally... i'll be happy when they give us normal 2 lane roads.

Yeah i agree i want -motorways- with -tolls- and -speedways-, but also -little streets-

More, i want also -railroad- with 3 talls of -stations-

We are sure to have -ports- at least two species and -airports- but i hope that will be 2-3 species...

The fact that the SCS will be more varied is getting me full hopes....

I will admit it thqt i play SCS not all the time....

The -comptemplative city- theme is the funiest

Bah "Cities Unlimited" is the future "Boiling Point" of city builders...

Because i see that, i see that will need an extravagant PC config...

The cooking is the following 99 % priomising 1% reality

In, long term SCS with its 5-10 add-ons will be largely superior

That really doesn't make sense......  They have mentioned repeatedly that they are making this game to run on older machines.  Just remember SCS has its technical difficulties from messy coding.  Graphically computer games have looked like this for awhile.

Personally even if SCS does turn out well with 10 add-ons, I refuse to pay $350 for a computer game.  This upcoming expansion adds seaports and airports, thats hardly worth $30, (the going price of EP's).

Dont be ironic because SCS Destinations offers not only airports and seaports but full new stuffs like new society types, new types of sims, 100 new buildings, Sim Nation will exist and perhaps surprises...

It is not false the things i am saying...

Because with my pc and in 1440x900 resolution screen in setting called Middle without changing nothing, not even disabling any, it function perfectly well without lagging, just by decreasing the number of Sims who are visibles on Low rather than Medium, and for futures computer the High exist

EA probably ordered Tilted Mill to make about 5 expansion packs -- they probably would not release 10 because that might hurt their 'image' more than SCS alone has done.

Well, Expansions can both help and hurt a game. It helps a game since it wont force people to upgrade comps and can at times give a game more longevity. But it also shows how desperate is one to hold on to a cash cow.

They're desperate, all right. Soon this strange, undefined demographic entity called 'casual gamers' will realize that EA is trying to get their money - nothing more. By releasing the game in minute pieces $30 a piece, they can suck more than $300 out of you!

No expansion pack can help this game - if they wish to make it a real Simcity, they might as well start from scratch and act as if this whole SCS experience was just a nightmare.

Yeah, if EA makes a even more crappy SC game; what are we going to do? Protest, send hate mails, or etc? I wish Maxis never sold itself to the money greedy EA company.

I might as well stick with SC4 deluxe for now.

EDIT: Something tells me that EA doesn't care about the quality of their games and their customers....

Bah its the fact of most PC games

I play at the moment Two Worlds on 360, its more immersive, especially with a 42pouces screen...

PC are disavantaged against consoles like 360 or even PS3...

Because on consoles games are finished and polished, arent ?

Has anyone noticed that SCS runs slower than SC4?

In fact, SCS is so crappy (to me) and so slow and laggy that I uninstalled the dumb game and deleted the saved city. Plus, I can't really plan ahead what am I going to build and where, because there isn't any grid to help me and the buildings' sizes are different from the other buildings' sizes.

What should I do with the openedd SCS box with the CD in it?

EDIT: Sim-Maire, would you like to play SCS game on your 360?
