Making SC4 on crack for sc5 would be just as pointless. If i remember correctly sc4 was a little disapointing until rush hour came along and not to mention all the user created stuff as it mostly just sc3000 made again. When you look at sc2000 and sc3000 both were major upgrades to its predessor...sc4 really wasnt much of an upgrade in comparsion in my view. But dont get me wrong sc4 still brillant game but sc3000 was done the best hence why its ported still to this day. if sc5 is to be a hit they need to have it as major upgrade again that interest old fans and brings in new fans. To be honest if SCS would have been fine with me if it just had normal gameplay of simcity RCI and zones, even if it was easier least it would have broken simcity into 3d world. I reckon if someone actally just modded the correct gameplay into scs it would be more fun to play? maybe EA will learn from this i dont think sc dead just yet and from wii and iphone release they seem to aknoledge the old simcity gameplay is the best. As much as we blame EA titled mill were just as arrogant to change the gameplay that worked!!

No offence man but that is a really bad reason why SCS was made by EA, if they need to do that to test a 3D engine then EA/Maxis are in seriously big trouble. tbh i hate the sims yeah but you can still tell even with sims 3 a lot of work gone into the game for the fans.... Simcity they knew had a small die hard fan base that not big enough for EA profit needs, so whats the solution? how do they make simcity a cash cow.....dum it down and make it pretty and sell to the masses, there no loyalty to gamers now, why i miss the 90s so much! its all about fanchises and mega bucks. Sims is a cash cow, they put the effort into the game because there enough people to buy it sad thing with simcity is even the people that had stopped playing it around sc2000 came out the woodwork to show there disgust at SCS, it was regarded as biggest insult to the history of gaming everyone slated it even non simcity fans! and i was physically depressed when i saw it!!! never even felt that way about a game before it surprised me how sick it made me feel still feel depressed thinking about it, EA are on a decline even there NFS series is a joke now and sims 3 more of the same and spore was a bit of a flop with the reviews truth is Maxis so busy making spore simcity left to rot with EA, Spore just another sim endless addons and stuff packs, loads was cut from the game i wish didnt even buy spore got spooorboerd with it

probably not and who cares the game a pile of crud even EA just sell it with SC4 now because no one even interested in it, might be mods but more fun and interesting mods for SC4 that are far superior time to reinstall sc4 on my new pc i think

Ok spores is out and over with now, the reviews were pretty adverage in my view and felt like they wanted to slate the game but not completely due to the amazing creature creator and the 7 years of development. but all this and now simcity left in ruins with cities xl to take over....BAD MOVE MAXIS very bad move! sorry spores is clever and i still may buy it but you let one of your top games simcity suffer this mess in my view maxis needs to turn back to simcity 5 and regain the city simulation genre, with cities xl almost done though even maxis might have a hard time taking it back

yeah this should be upgraded to pc with even more stuff hehe seems like video i found changed ppl opinon on sc creator....i was impressed cause i had very very low expectations on it....i also dont get why we got SCS if they were making this as well :S

I really hope this does come out for the pc, this is what they should have been made really for pc not SCS. this is the friendly simcity to get more people playing it again that was needed, least it still stayed true to its routes! the road tool does look hard to use but certaintly cool i think they should do another sc4 addon pack as well fix all the missing features and add more for the advance fans as well

have you tried updating you graphic drivers?

exactly what i was trying to say....looks hopeful the old simcity will be back with a true sequel at some point....just depends how long....i still think someone should mod scs into classic simcity gameplay

DID ANY1 WATCH THE VIDEO! that just a future building option i think creator cool and a lot better SCS sc4 still rules thou yeah but creator i think on the right tracks, road feature cool

ok its still a bit of a shadow of sc4 but this really is a much better simcity game, zones and RCI is back but watch this video!! can even build curve roads! I really wish this was for pc, not that keen getting a wii just for this

im pretty sure it has, sim city fans hate it, sim fans dont care about it, and anyone else prob look past it to buy the latest grid game or call of duty

to be honest why not just mod the simcity game we want in SCS i thought was susposed to be fully moddable, sad part of SCS its not bad game its just gameplay that makes it sucks, we could just mod the simcity gameplay with this game and start adding classic simcity buildings into scs and create 3d simcity we've always wanted, most the work has been done, this is not impossible either, modding has a better sucess rate. any half life fan will know what i mean...some truely great mods that become games and sell in shops later

i doubt we heard the last of simcity, i hear distinations has made it a bit better? not tried myself yet but was disapointed with scs
