whoa, sorry i missed a couple of update, friend. been quite busy around here.

i really liked your overview of La Rhea; shame that it crashed on you. hopefully you'll build it better than before!

also, nice work on the shanty town; if that was your first time using the LE, i can't wait to see when you're a seasoned pro. nice work!

gabry85 - LOL how could i have missed 9.gif sorry about that.ive something special for you in one of my updates to make it up to you 9.gif its a surprise though 9.gif

    UPDATE 3

AROUND PUERTO JOYA the northersn districts of  La Rhea and San Antonio Hills

    La Rhea

    larheamosaicup.jpg

    larheamosaicdown.jpg

North of the Poblacion is the colorful (more on that later) district of La Rhea. It is a largely residential area with a population of roughly 100,000 Puerto Joyans. Commercial activities in La Rhea are mainly concentrated along the major thoroughfares that connect La Rhea to the other districts.

    avenues-1.jpg

    dakudao.jpg

Dakudao Avenue connects the district of San Antonio Hills to the Poblacion.Along this Avenue is the Business and Finance campus of the Univeristy of Puerto Joya , the Puerto Joya Medical Center and Greenhills Shopping Center; a popular destination for buying electronic gadgets and bootleg clothings

    jplaurelcopy.jpg

JP Laurel Avenue connects the Poblacion and the southern districts to the Puerto Joya International Airport. It is one of Puerto Joya's longest Avenue that spans the districts of Poblacion, La Rhea and the northern edges of the city.

The heart of La Rhea's commercial activity, however, is Cabaguio Avenue, a 4-lane avenue that connects 2 Major thoroughfares and is near the airport, along this street are a number of budget hotels and inns, restaurants and commercial establishments. It is also one of Puerto Joya's most famous (or infamous) avenues (again, more on that later 9.gif)

    cabaguioavenue.jpg

    cabagioplaza.jpg

At the junction of JP Laurel Avenue and Cabaguio Avenue is Plaza Magsaysay, although relatively empty at daytime, you would not want to be seen here at night when the plaza becomes a meetingplace for "lonely men" and the girls (and sometimes boys) that are willing to accompany them for a fee. The many motels and cheap inns near the area add to the infamy of the place

    larheacondos.jpg

due to its proximity to the Poblacion and the relatively traffic free (compared to JP Laurel avenue) Quezon Boulevard, the southern end of Cababuio Avenue is fast becoming a prime residential area, here we see two residential towers and two more rising near them

    larheamarket.jpg

At the southern tip of Cabaguio Avenue is the La Rhea public market.Located beside  the La Rhea fishport where most fishing vessels drop off their catch of tuna for delivery to be delivered to the airport for export, the La Rhea Public market is popular for the cheap tuna that dont make it for export.(of course they are of good quality, but exports are under strict quality contro

Okay, I have to confess two things ...

    1. I am here because I clicked on the wrong place ... 46.gif

    2. I am glad that I clicked on the wrong place 16.gif

Wonderful suburban hell there (I even liked the airport a little bit), highrises at the right location, adequate traffic system and a nice harbour ...

I guess I have to come back here ... so be warned! 9.gif

I love every overview shot of an area that you've shown; It's so green, yet very busy. I like that airport you've  made because it's just big enough to not look out of place. My personal opinion on the criticism part is that there are too many avenues in one area (at least in the last update), but that's just me! Please, keep going!
