If only PAL had a good long-range aircraft that could fly Puerto Joya - MAR..... 777 will do? 4.gif  My PAL livery needs working on but it can be done in maybe a few days... 9.gif

Excellent job on the airport! It looks much better than the old one. Nice use of the parks/plazas along with the parking lots to fill in the empty space in the middle of the main road for the PJI. The real-life shots were good too, but it was the awesome night editing that really stood out! Looking forward to more.

Very, very pleased with that airport of yours. Finally an international airport that isn't a multitude of terminals. The best airport I've seen in a long time!

panthersimcity4 - thanks panther 4.gif well its smaller than manila but bigger than Davao and Cebu 4.gif if you google earth davao, youd notice that the city's shape is similar 4.gif

Deever -  haha tiny indeed 4.gif oy you forgot Subic and DMIA (and the new one at Iloilo too) but you can omit davao,it doesnt exist since puerto joya replaces davao in the philippine map lol

    allez l'om - sure 4.gif

SkyTearer - thank you for your kind reply sir 4.gif im using PEG's brigantine water mod

Smarty218 - Yeah its open at last, the residents and tourists were nagging me to force open it lol..but seriously, it will provide a much needed boost to the city 4.gif

Jondude11 - glad you liked it sir 4.gif and thanks for reading the history stuff too 4.gif

jacqulina - thanks for your continued support my friend

pilotdaryl - oi pare 4.gif looking forward to that 4.gif i prepared PJIA's flight schedule, maybe you could look at it and find a flight schedule between Marshall and Puerto JOya 4.gif

    wir3d - tropicool 4.gif i like that 9.gif thanks

krbe - wow, that was very flattering, but i dont think my airport ranks with the best here in ST, its small compared to the bigger terminals but big enough to meet my city's needs 4.gif

Godzillaman - Not as long as the bigger ones though 4.gif but yeah twas tough work especially the runway/taxiway/ramps 4.gif

Anyway, this is just a follow up to the PJIA terminal opening update 4.gif no SC pics though 2.gif but some pamphlets the Airport Authority have distributed  to some airline officials during the opening 4.gif its not supposed to be released to the public but meh LOL

As you can see, the airport isnt terminal isnt really grand, the interiors may be modern but looking at the planning, its not really big but enough to meet the current and projected future needs of the city

PJIA Floor plan (click here for the bigger copy)

    MINIPLANUP.jpg

    MINIPLANDN.jpg

    PJIA Flight Schedule

    flightsched1copy.jpg

    flightsched2copy.jpg

there are daily open slots (so one flight per day) for international traffic..one is reserverd for Marshall, South Dakota 4.gif (lol fixed..so thats why im seeing 2 marshalls 9.gif)

    ok so reserved slots for

    1. Marshall, SOuth Dakota (then would proceed to JFK?)

    2. Saint Helena

    3. Auburn Bay International

    4. Copper Basin Arizona (via LAX perhaps?)

    5.New Burgundy

    6. Solomon (of course 9.gif)

Hey waway, Mackinac Airways wants to open up a weekly flight to Puerto Joya. Possibly on Wednesday. Mackinac Airways will be operating a B777-300ER to Puerto Joya from Saint Helena.

Wow, I love detailed CJ's and this is a detailed CJ! Therefore, I love this detailed CJ! 3.gif

As for my CJ, I stopped my big city project because I feel too limited by the grid (that's why I'm very focused on CUPlanet.com right now), so I'm working for something smaller right now, perhaps I'll open a brief CJ in the future. Anyway, thanks so much for asking, I really appreciate your feedback! 4.gif5.gif

How many times I said the word "CJ" in this post? 5, rofl! 18.gif

I knew it wouldn't be very long for these great daytime shots to be shown! They look sharp, I like that. Good floor plan for the airport, that must've taken quite a while to make. Well, all that work sure paid off!

Auburn Airlines would also like to start weekly flights from Auburn Bay International to Puerto Joya International. The possible days are Monday and Friday.

Exactly why I like it. Very few airports are those large monsters most are trying to replicate. The large airlines of of the world and the important cities have their hubs (Amsterdam, Paris, London, New York, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Tokyo, Bejing, Hong Kong, Singapore) while the vast majority of city airports are small-to-medium airports. That's why I liked this one so muchh (and would probably do as a traveller too—the larger the airport, the larger the problems when something happens.

Very well done, pare! 4.gif  I'll try to make one of those terminal plans myself! 4.gif  Maybe photoshop it into a real one inside the terminal for the passengers.  You want anything else?  I was thinking of an Asian Spirit Bae-146... in the long term, though. 20.gif  I've been looking at the departures list... no Marshall!!!  Only Los Angeles lol...

The KMAR flights (twice a week) should be on Sundays and Wednesdays, or depending on how busy the terminal is.  After all, only 4 international gates.  I'm lucky that PAL is the only 777 operator at PJIA (otherwise I would have to send you even more 777s 18.gif no I don't want to spoil it all)

By the way, it's Marsall, South Dakota (not to be confused with the Minnesota counterpart)

Wow, this is an excellent cj - I really like how the city and the terrain coincide together nicely.  Your airport looks great, and I am amazed by the detail of your terminal maps.  If there is room, could you schedule an international flight to Copper Basin, Arizona?  Thanks, and again - awesome cj!

Shame the old airport looked quite cool near all the housing though the residents probably didn't appeciate it, on the other hand I really like the new one too as it looks just the perfect size for the city 2.gif
