This is the City of Goulais River. It's home to 293,000 people. It has a small downtown but it's mainly a suburban commuting city.

Downtown Goulais Bay
Old Downtown

Goulais Bay is the Tech Hub for the region and has many companies headquarted here. 
Starting from the top right and going clockwise around: Intel, Sony, Microsoft, Dell, Samsung, LG Electronics, Toshiba, and Apple.

Not sure if I have ever posted this exact picture of Vista Del Mar's CBD (70% of it anyway) but here it is. Man I miss this city, it acquired prop pox and then I moved too quickly after a save and created an unrecoverable error. Nonetheless I came across this in the archives. Most of these are non-plop buildings. I was pleased with myself when I built this city.  Hope you enjoy!

Downtown Radiation is a dense cluster of skyscrapers located within the City of Radiation, a city that crams over 233,000 people into a mere 7 square miles. There are so many skyscrapers in the city that not even this large mosaic could capture them all. Once you start heading south or east away from downtown, the height of buildings quickly plummets (which is notable in the picture), and if you go farther east past Interstate 5 there are nearly no skyscrapers to be found.

A CBD of a rather old city that I dug up; I'm currently working on making it less Maxis-looking. If you notice the highway, that was a lame attempt at using the RHW instead of Maxis highways. Specifically I don't have time to build a proper highway yet

But it looked a lot worse to begin with..
